We booked the evening Vaults & Graveyard Tour and we are so pleased with the whole experience! Jordan guided us and he was so good! He was really approachable and made the tour interesting, engaging and fun! We learnt a lot about the dark history of Edinburgh, which we really loved! I would really recommend Jordan and this company so please do not hesitate to book a tour with them!

We had a wonderful time learning more about Edinburgh and the places that inspired Harry Potter. Claudia is such a knowledgeable guide, she taught us a lot of history in the hour and a half that we had with her. I highly recommend this tour, it made for a great afternoon and gave us insights into the city that we otherwise would have missed on our own.

Louisa was a great tour guide! Very informative! Loved learning the history of the city of Edinburgh. You can learn so much from a tour that you would’ve never learned otherwise. And a plus- as someone who is extremely claustrophobic I wasn’t sure what to expect during this tour, but it was 100% fine and Louisa even made sure I stood in the doorways of each room we entered.

The Edinburgh Late-Night Underground Vaults Terror Tour was amazing!! From the very beginning, our guide Louisa had so much energy and enthusiasm and really made the tour come alive. She has so much knowledge and really did everything she could to make sure everyone had a terrifyingly memorable experience. The vaults and their history are fascinating. Totally recommend. Also, hi Louisa's mum!

Thanks to Eric for a really interesting tour of the Underground Vaults. He provided some good history of the area and the vaults. Be prepared for a brisk walk from the meeting area to the vaults, but Eric takes good care of his people.
Note the photo with the red phone booth -- that is the meeting place for the tour!

I'm surprised at the ratings for this but I probably should have looked more carefully as many are one time reviewers. This was a walking tour of old town and the vaults that lasted around an hour. We had 34 (!!!!) people on our tour so it was a bit much being stuffed into the small vault rooms. Would be better to have a tour with a smaller group.

James was a lovely tour guide full of energy and information. Interesting to see the different vault rooms and hear some of the stories of life back in the vaults. However it got a bit too monotonous with the vaults after a while - once you see one, the rest seem redundant.

If you're looking for some history, it's a useful tour (though probably could be 1/2 the time and worth 1/4 of the cost). However I do think that the tour organizers can do a better job at making the groups smaller.

And for the cost, if you're looking for entertainment with history I would suggest that we had a better time at the dungeons exhibit and it was definitely value for money

The vaults and graveyard tour was amazing. Lots of history and great stories. We did it at 8pm when it was getting dark which was perfect. Jordan was a great guide. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time, mainly due to our tour guide Louisa. She was able to combine the serious information with some fun jokes and some decent jump scares. With such tours, a guide can really make or break a tour and she definitely make it. I really disappointed myself that I couldnt leave a bigger tip, since I only had €1,40 on me, next time I will bring some decent cash with me for such a great guide.
Only downside was the amount of rooms we entered. Had hoped for a few more, as we 'only' entered 4 rooms. But that doesn't take anything away from our awesome guide! (And if you're the mother of Louisa: you raised an awesome daughter?)
