We visited the place twice last month and it’s just amazing… my baby just loved it ❤️ it was just a delightful treat for him. Luckily when we visited it was good weather.. sunny not much windy .. they have a lot of options for kids.. swings, slides wee castles and then slides options in. Flying fox, jumping options, wee sand play with tractor rides in it and a lot more. It was a perfect date for my wee one ❤️ .. also they have option for birthday parties and a lot more options of events to attend occasionally. Most importantly they have separate play places for upto 5 and then other one for 5+. And who doesn’t wander ice cream after play ? they have a wee ice cream place inside park with other options and candy floss cabin as well.

my favourite paid park in Edinburgh. it's absolutely huge with lots of options for every age. a café and toilets although I'd prefer a toilet in the actual park rather than at the entrance.

Great outdoor space for children! So many things to do! Probably would be more enjoyable in summer, but we enjoyed it even on a sunny winter day. In summer I guess it would be a good idea to book it in advance, but in winter there was no need to do it.

My daughter is 12 and enjoyed it a bit, but there wasn’t loads for her to go on and it’s only about 1+1/2 hours of fun. There is also some amazing grounds to walk around and enjoy.
It’s £3 to park but it doesn’t get you into Fort Douglas, it’s £9.50 for a child between 5 and 12 and £5 for an adult (13+). If you book 24 hours in advance it’s a little cheaper.
I would say younger children will enjoy it more than older ones.
