We really enjoyed our stay at the Glenisle hotel! The location was absolutely stunning with a direct view on Holy Island. The rooms were cozy, tidy and inviting. The staff was friendly. The ordering times were a little long, but the wait was always worth it with deliciously and freshly prepared seafood dishes.

12 golfers stayed the weekend at The Glenisle Hotel in Lamlash. B&B Breakfast was excellent. We dined over the two nights and everyone thoroughly enjoyed what they had ordered. Some ongoing work did not affect our stay & the rooms were superb; especially the view across Lamlash Bay. Nothing was an issue to Joyce the hotel manager. An absolute gem.

Relaxed dining experience, dog friendly, mussels in Thai sauce I’d recommend. Eaten regularly in The Glenisle & never had a substandard meal. If you are a carnivore try the smash burger. Well presented food and helpful staff. Only drawback; Cash only tips as card machine not set up for tipping staff.

Clean comfortable stay. Nice large bed, pillows. Good size fluffy towels. Good amount of complimentary tea/coffee and replenished. Good breakfast. Pleasant staff. Would happily stay again and recimmend it.

Really great location opposite the beach...

Food was good, had a small fish supper on one lunchtime.

Stayed overnight and the room appeared recently refurbished.

I came here with another four adults for lunch on 25 August. The young man who served us was really pleasant and chatty, but that was the only plus. The service was slow and the fish and chips were really greasy. Unfortunate as we had lunch and dinner out for five days, we never returned to the Glenisle.

We enjoyed a fantastic meal here during our stay in Lamlash. The food was excellent (the mussels come highly recommended!) The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and the views over Holy Isle make this place extra special. The staff were lovely and attentive - I would recommend this place to anyone staying on Arran.

My friend and I truly loved our stay at this hotel. Comfortable attractive room, with a unique bathroom, pretty views of the bay and the Holy Isle from the windows, courteous, helpful and friendly staff, tasty dinners, gorgeous breakfast. Thoroughly recommended.
