What a great place to stay for a holiday on Arran. Sherie and Andrew were fabulous hosts for our 4 nights B&B in Lamlash. My son and I shared a twin room with ensuite bathroom. The shower was so good and the beds very comfortable. We both really enjoyed our "big breakfast" every morning served in a wonderful dining room overlooking Lamlash Bay. We were made very welcome and invited to view their amazing back garden with stunning views of the Bay from the Log Cabin at the top. Loved the way they left the front door light on for our late returns after a full day out on this beautiful island. Would strongly recommend staying at Ivybank.

Andy and Sherie and their lovely B&B deserve more than 5 stars. Wonderful hosts who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and shared great stories with us. I had a lovely ensuite twin room with beautiful views out over to Holy Isle. Looking forward to hopefully visiting again in future!

All the reviews on Tripadvisor are accurate when describing the superb views and proximity to the pubs. Arran is a super chilled and beautiful island and Ivybank the best place to stay. The accommodation is very comfortable (even had binoculars by the bed to look out at Holy Isle) and the hospitality of Andy and Sherie the owners is beyond reproach. Breakfast is to die for. Can't wait to go back.

Ivybank was a very welcoming, cosy and comfortable house to stay in. Our room was a little cramped but Sherie and Andrew kindly let us use another room to store our cases and were very relaxed and friendly hosts, even letting us use their large and comfy sitting room to relax in. Breakfast was good and the location on the seafront in the pretty village of Lamlash couldn’t have been better. A beautiful view and lovely waking along the bay, with some good places to eat a few minutes walk away. We had two great days walking, both North and South of the island, spotting wonderful Springtime wildlife. Thankyou, Sherie and Andrew.

I emailed on the off chance for the Friday night before the Highland Games and straight away offered 2 rooms a double a single for myself, husband and daughter. Both Cherie and Andy were very helpful and understood with the more than typical weather we might not make it over. ||On arrival it was great to be greeted by lovely relaxed hosts in a homely environment. Our room was perfect sea view and daughters room was a nice wee single. Shared bathroom which was really big great shower and a lovely stand alone bath. ||Breakfast was perfect for us, fresh cooked plenty toast and cereal on hand. Andy was the perfect chef/host in the morning. ||Parking is limited but the car park is a short walk and free.

This place was ok but I wouldn't stay here again. (I visited in 2017 so this review might be a bit outdated) For one thing it was really tiny and there where steep stairs and the shower was cold and the toilet drain was really tiny. And now for the garden it had outstanding sea view but it was so steep and do be careful to the left as there is a big fall. The rooms where really nice thow the front room has a sea view and the rear room has a sky light for stargazing so that's nice. That's all to say really so goodbye have a nice day.
