Got the ferry over to Millport today £4 return you cannot complain. When you get off ferry you need to wait for bus to take you into the town. This you pay for.
Journey itself smooth sailing ⛵️ and Journey approximately 10/ 15 minutes.

Buzzing with viking fair loved the atmosphere. Parking was bit tricky but we managed to find a free parking spot in pne of the adjacent lanes.

Quick ride over to Cumbrae, 8 minutes, just enough time to pop up and watch the view before returning to the car! £30 for the car and family to go over, we loved the island so it was worth it for us.

On the 12April I got permission to scatter my mum’s ashes off the ferry,my dad was scattered the same way 21yr ago.I wish to say thanks to all the staff, from beginning to end they were absolutely brilliant. The captain even gave us the coordinates of the exact place we scattered mum.The guys on the ferry showed respect when the time came to say goodbye to mum.
Thankyou very much from the Ballantyne’s.

Great service today, as a wheelchair user we requested to be boarded at the back of the ferry as my only way out of the car was the tailgate (WAV). Staff were very helpful and understanding. We were last on to and from Cumbrae.
As I said great service.

It was a lovely smooth crossing - only 10 minutes but no announcement to let you know you'd arrived. We nearly ended up back in Millport on the return. We actually had to walk past the embarking passengers to disembark.

Nostalgic trip to Millport, took the car this time as I’m getting less mobile. Enjoyed the shale beach and made it into the water which was near freezing. Chatted to everyone. Spilled a drink on wife due to a loose slat on the table. This was reported to staff and the drink was replaced free of charge. Glorious day.
