Our DofE Gold group thoroughly enjoyed our time with Tom and Sian in Sweden, completing our expedition section by kayak in the Gryt Archipelagos. The instruction was fantastic and after the training we felt very confident in our ability to live self-sufficiently out among the islands. You couldn't really pick a better location either - the scenery was phenomenal! If you are considering partaking in an expedition with Adventure Residentials, we would wholeheartedly recommend the experience.

Well organised. Good communication. My child was very anxious about doing the expedition in Sweden, but they had a great time. They did not know anyone on the trip beforehand, but it didn't matter because everyone was friendly.

Steve and Tom provided a fantastic experience that I couldn’t recommend highly enough. There was the perfect balance on the Nordic Skiing trip to allow the freedom to try new things, and the support to allow you to gain the confidence to do so. The structure of the trip was well planned and suitable for anyone. The location was outstanding and as a Gold D of E participant I felt the guidance and instruction provided was flawless. I would happily return!

Ive just got back from my Gold DofE expedition in france and i cant express enough how much fun and enjoyment i had. Steve and his team were so lovely and welcoming. I met the most amazing bunch of people and made some incredible memories which will last with me for a lifetime!

I joined Steve and the team for their week's kayaking expedition in the swedish Gryt Archipelagos. Throughout the 7 days, I was consistently amazed by the natural environment we were in and impressed by the support we received. Thoroughly recommended and easily my best experience throughout DofE too.

I have just come back from my kayak trip in Sweden for Gold d of e and have loved my whole experience, from the people to the beautiful islands, Steve made sure that our 8 days away were full of learning and trying to find a cool new wild camping spot!

Many thanks to Steve for organising a successful cross country skiing trip to Gol, Norway, in February 2024. Our teenage daughter was pleased about everything - accommodation, food, but most of all learning and enjoying cross country skiing in a beautiful scenery.
In preparation for travel, we were very well informed about the trip, received prompt responses to our questions and a very helpful kit list. We are grateful to Adventure Residentials for transfers from and to the Gol train station, and overall for providing an enjoyable active holiday.
