I went on a wildlife tour of Mull with Nature Scotland and it was so good I did it again !! During the first outing, Ewan found incredible spots to see a huge variety of birds including a White Tailed Eagle in its nest. We also saw a seals and deer - all against the backdrop of the exquisite Mull landscape including the glorious Calgary Bay. The second trip was with Klay who can spot anything that moves ! We saw otters including one who paused on the water’s edge to eat a large fish. We also saw a Golden Eagle being harassed by ravens and used the scope watch it on the cliff. The tours were the highlight of my stay on Mull ! Fun, professional and informative. I’ll be coming back for a third trip when time allows ! Highly recommended !

Had a wonderful time on Mull in April on a 5 day Nature Scotland trip. The itinerary was well organised & we visited areas which gave us the maximum opportunity to see the amazing wildlife on Mull.
Ewan & his guides are incredibly knowledgeable & have very keen eyes for spotting wildlife. We were accompanied by Iolo Williams & his expert input re the local flora & fauna, not forgetting his humour, was appreciated.
The Nature Scotland team always tried to ensure our group of 12 were able to see the wildlife being spotted & telescopes & binoculars were available for anyone who didn't have their own equipment.
Lunches, tea & cake were provided each day by a local caterer & they were excellent.
We had amazing weather on our trip which really showcased Mull at it's best. A memorable experience.

Despite the miserable weather, our guide , Jack, managed to serve up a memorable day. We still managed to see white tailed eagles, otters, seals, red and fallow deer and were only plagued by midges for a brief moment. Jack was full of useful information about Mull and helpfully gave us some tips on the locations to spot Mull's wildlife stars.

It was a wonderful widlife experience. We were able to watch otter, eagles, owls and harriers demonstrating a range of behaviours in their natural habitats. All truly memorable. My mother became 'an otter spotter' at the age of 83 and is still talking about it. Heartfelt thanks to Ewan and Theo for their expertise and Jane for the amazing catering. Overall, a first class adventure on the beautiful isle of Mull.

We would not have normally booked a nature trail but our friends asked us to join them so we did & didn’t regret it. The scenery & wildlife around Mull was amazing and Theo our guide was so knowledgeable & made it very interesting. So whether it’s your first time or a seasoned naturalist (as our group was so mixed) I would definitely recommend. Thank you Theo for a great day. Shame we didn’t see the otters but we did later. 😃

Just back from five brilliant days on the Islay Expedition. It exceeded all expectation, wonderful wildlife, expert guiding from the incredibly knowledgeable Ewan and Theo, lovely accommodation and terrific catering from Jane.
It's clear that they really care about giving clients the best possible experience at all times, we learned a great deal and saw several Golden and White tailed eagles, hen harriers, coughs, some very rare geese, boxing hares, red and roe deer and lovely otters surfing on the waves and sheltering from the strong wind and waves. Who knew that seals "banana" to digest their food! Thanks everyone, highly recommended! Hope to see you all again

We had a fabulous tour of the island! We got to see otters and an eagle, as well as so many other interesting species and places. It was a great way to see Mull and get to know its unique wildlife. Jack, our tour guide, was amazing, and the whole team was great. Highly recommend!

My husband and I spent a terrific day on the island of Mull with Theo from Nature Scotland. All we had to do was take the ferry over from Oban to meet him, and he took it from there. He did a great deal of preparation to be ready to show us wildlife and vistas across the island on a day that mixed occasional downpours with showers and sun. And he was amazing at sighting both birds and mammals and then helping us find them with binoculars and telescope (sea otter photo - climax of the day - is attached). We were able to mix short walks and views from the car to see so many aspects of Mull's beauty - mountain slopes with waterfalls, cliffs, and heather, lochs and coastal inlets, views of offshore islands, and deer, otters, eagles, cormorants, and more. Highly recommend!
