What a brilliant place. We walked up from the JM Barrie house, had something in the nice wee cafe, then a visit upstairs to the viewing area. Fascinating, interesting, worth every minute. Run by volunteers, no entry fee, but we had no hesitation in putting money in the donation box as it was so good. Well done everyone and thank you again

Visited today. Actually turned around to come back and visit as we hadn't realised it was open. Had lovely walk around the hill and over the park and very much enjoyed exploring Kirrie in secret from the pavilion tower. Families would love it. Links to J.M.Barrie, Peter Pan and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and All for free!! Really interesting informed staff who were so nice. Would thoroughly recommend. Lots of goodies and refreshments in the little cafe. A total gem.

Very cool to see the surroundings on the viewing table in front of you. The camera operator gave plenty of interesting facts as the camera spun around showing different parts of the surrounding countryside

The cafe was exceptionally good value - if I lived near by I'd walk my dog here just to get a coffee and cake!

The camera obscura and cafe are run by volunteers who do a great job, well worth stopping in for

Lovely piece of history, paid for by JM Barrie, hopefully they still sprinkle pixie dust around here. Open on Saturdays Sundays and Mondays. Run by volunteers.

It was a bit of a dreary overcast day but we were still pleasantly surprised at what we could see and the history of the place, the volunteers were knowledgeable and friendly, we're so glad we took a chance and hung around for it to open. The cake was delicious and such great value, we ended up scoffing it before making it back to the van and nipping back in for more.
