Used Adventure Alternative to get to the top of Kilimanjaro (June 2024). Communication was sound and team they had in Moshi was fantastic. Chris in UK was amazing and Castro had us sorted in Tanzania. Can't wait to use them again!

We used Chris and Adventure Alternative for a charity trek of Kilimanjaro. The advice and help before we left for Tanzania was amazing, we had every question answered for us and advice given from start to finish, One of our party had very strict dietary restrictions, and the organisers could not have done any more for us. The entire trip was well planned, and the sprits of all were kept up by the singing, joking and dancing from our guides and porters. An unbelievable experience from start to finish and I would not hesitate to use AA again. #hakunamatata

I have done Kilimanjaro and Everest base camp with this company. Adventure Alternative are exceptional. I would rate them ten out of ten. Chris was so helpful and always replied to my emails straight away. All our tour guides were so helpful, kind and supportive. Tsering, our guide in Nepal went above and beyond his duty. His knowledge of Nepal was outstanding. His brother phura Tashi joined us and we had great laughs and made beautiful memories. Our porter Ayush was so kind and happy. He always had a big smile on his face. We all became great team. We were so sad saying goodbye to everyone. I have such beautiful memories of Kilimanjaro and Everest Base camp. They team really looked after us and i always felt safe. I cant recommend this company enough.

What a beautiful time I had travelling with Adventure Alternative! I went trekking two weeks in the Everest region. The staff was really kind and precious all along my trip. I can genuinely recommend you to choose Adventure Alternative if you want a perfect trip from the booking to your return home. Plus, they are a responsible tourism company caring for their staff and the environment and we can feel it !!

The quality of service provided by the Adventure Alternative team based in Nepal was amazing. The team was super helpful, flexible, efficient and understanding when planning our trips to the different cities/towns. We spent a month in Nepal, stayed in Kathmandu and travelled to Pokhara and Chitwan. The team was very attentive to our preferences and budget and made sure that we were happy with the travel itinerary at all times.
