Called in during my first visit to Inverness. Very useful and helpful staff. A great shop window for inverness. Was shocked to hear that it will be closed. A big loss, particularly for independent local businesses that would not be top hits for online information and searches. Also will miss addressing the personalised needs of unfamiliar visitors in a single place, from how to take a bus, where to buy what, the best shopping districts, options for traditional local food. Would be good if the local authorities could save as would be in the local communities interest.

New location on the High Street is so much better!! Everything you need for planning your stay in Inverness and the Highlands. they can book your tours, accommodation anywhere in Scotland. Nice souvenirs and great staff!

I am glad this Tourist Information Centre has not been closed. I like to come here for a brochure and any possible leaflets/maps they might have. Recently, I was given useful information on Orkney and Shetland. The lady that served me knew her stuff. The other thing is they have some nice souvenirs for sale, which adds the personal touch.
The Tourist Office is like your local library, use it or lose it. This one on the High Street is really good. Thanks for a great service.
