Inverness is a very small city and can mostly be explored by walk. Sightseeing route isn't that intresting and there aren't much good stops either. We used this mostly as a local bus for going to spots like dolphin watch point etc. If they provide live guided tour then it might add some value otherwise audio recordings aren't that great.

Couldnt give no star as wouldnt let me , save ur money , total waste of money. We do a tour bus where ever we go and this has to be the worst yet sorry inverness am sure u could do better. There was no history or any informative information. We didn't learn anything as a family.
I am a tour bus driver in another city and i'm sorry but this was so disappointing.

I was quite surprised to see a City Sightseeing bus tour in Inverness. It’s a small city and one that can easily be explored on foot.

At £12 for a 24-hour ticket, it’s reasonably priced, but the stops are hardly the most exciting - with the exception of Dochgarroch, however. From here you can eat well and shop or catch one of the Loch Ness tour boats.

A lot of time on this short bus tour is spent in residential neighbourhoods getting from one point of interest to another.

Given Dochgarroch is served by regular buses from the city, you could save a good amount of money using these instead, and exploring the few city sights on foot.

I actually really enjoyed this tour. I love finding out what there is to know about a city I am visiting and the City Sightseeing tour is always the one to go for. Very friendly people and customer service.

Don't. We spent half of the journey in the motorway. The whole tour was 35 mins ( including waiting on the stops) advertised as min 1 hour. They show you Tesco and construction sites ( not joking)

We have always just had a flying visit to Inverness but we were staying for a couple of days so we decided to take the tour as we thought there must be more to the city than we thought. The tour cost us £18 for 2of us and it was a waste of money.Dont get me wrong the 1st part was lovely but as soon as it left the Botanical garden the rest was completely pointless..We went on the motorway for a bit, stopped in the middle of nowhere then drove round some houses then back to the bus station, definitely NOT worth the money.

This was the worst tour I’ve taken in this style/type of tour. Worn out, dirty buses. The route and length of tour was reasonable but there isn’t a lot to see. Seats are really tight. The dialogue is almost imperceptible. I think there may be two speakers on top of bus. And in between ride passengers talking all through the presentation (pre-recorded) and the wind blowing and road noise, may as well forget being able to gain ANY value of the content. Maybe heard 20% of the dialogue.
The stops were focused on shops and touristy places. Inverness is lovely and very beautiful. But this tour is waste of time. Thankfully not too crazy priced but pretty much waste of many.
We’ve done around 15 of these type of tours over the years and most are informative and well done. But this one in particular is in desperate need of refresh. Perhaps there’s too little money in it but the experience is not recommended. Sorry.

The driver is/was ok. But really rough ride. Hard on brakes and moving a little too quickly to make the ride up top comfortable and or enjoyable. Jerky and hard-ish around corners. Maybe schedule is tight? Has to rush to make stops in time? Which they were. But overall crummy experience in comparison to other tours of the type. Better off spending elsewhere.

It was the worst Hop on hope off ever. Had very few stops. Only one bus takes 45 minutes to go around. And hold at the bus depot for 15 minutes. If you get off at any stop you have to wait an hour when the bus makes another round. Nobody got off at any stop because they didn't want to wait an hour. The biggest stop was the castle which is under construction for a year and is closed. They didn't tell people about this before they got on the bus. Worst Ever. Total waste of money.
