We cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Thistle Tours. Graeme and Larisa were highly recommended to us by dear friends who were previous guests of Thistle Tours. They exceeded all expectations and made us feel like we were their personal guests. We had a small party of three adults (husband, wife, adult son) for our "Multiday Scottish Whisky Experience". We had two days of tours and experiences in Edinburgh with knowledgeable and engaging tour guides. These included the Edinburgh City Hop On Hop Off Majestic Tour which was perfect "go at your own pace" for arrival day after a very long flight. Other excellent experiences in Edinburg included the Walking Tour Secrets of the Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle, and The Spirit of Scotland Show (dinner and show). The remainder of our six touring days included the Royal Burgh of Stirling with an excellent walking tour with a knowledgeable and passionate local guide, Jane, the National Wallace Monument, touring the Highlands to include the Kelpies Complex, Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, Loch Ness and Caledonian Canal, Eilean Donan Castle, Isle of Sky Ferry and more. Along with several distillery tours and tastings we so enjoyed the absolutely stunning panoramic drives through the Highlands and our "too short" stay in Inverness. We packed a lot into our visit, but it just left us with wanting to return to this beautiful land and people. Graeme and Larisa were the ultimate, professional but warm and personable hosts. They made us feel more like family than tourists. They obviously are professional and are certainly knowledgeable and passionate about sharing their homeland's history with visitors. They are excellent hosts and guides. Larisa is full of knowledge and stories of her home's history. Graeme made us relaxed and welcome as he drove us around and shared the beautiful Highlands with us. We just cannot recommend Thistle Tours with Larisa and Graeme highly enough! the Harmon Family

Larisa and Thistle Tours,
I want to thank you so much for a lovely “Outlander Inspired Tour” from Invergordon Scotland that we took in August 2022. We got to see so much of the region, of which you are rightly proud. I can’t believe how much we saw in 8 hours and enjoyed your commentary including Beauly Priory and the Urquhart Castle on Loch Ness. We were so lucky to see the Clava Circles they were an amazing site. I really enjoyed the visit to Inverness and to realize how the city has changed over the last 200 years. Finally, the visit and tour of the Culloden Battle field site was very moving. As a history buff, I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and seeing some of the real-life sites associated with the pertinent history of the books. I highly recommend Thistle tours. I will have very fond memories of my visit to Northern Scotland, and I have you to thank.

Lisa and Graeme went out of their way to provide a perfect day for my family, touring the beautiful Scenic Highlands, including Urquhart Castle. It was very easy to connect with them outside of the Invergordon Port and they catered to all of our needs, including our 92 year old mom,. I would highly recommend Thistle Tours for a personalized tour - they will go out of their way to make your trip a magnificent one.

We went on a Loch Ness tour with Graeme and Lisa on August 12th. Our cruise ship arrived in Invergordon at 2:00 pm and they were the only tour company I could find that would take us on a tour for 1/2 day and not charge us for a full day. We went to Urquhart Castle and went on a Loch Ness boat tour. They even found us some 'heeland coos' to photograph. They were excellent tour guides. Always concerned about whether we were seeing what we wanted. And got us back to the ship in time for dinner. Would highly recommend them and would certainly book with them again if we are back in Scotland. Great job!
