A lovely way to experience the North West coast of Scotland and beautiful Plockton inlets and islets! Alison offers a varied approach, from wildlife watching and building sea kayaking skills, to formal kayaking awards.
She was attentive to the whole group and I always felt in safe hands. Alison used to work as an Environmental Ranger and is well-qualified to guide you around the quieter spots and share her knowledge of local wildlife. Her passion for international kayaking is infectious!

A simply lovely way to spend a day. I had only done freshwater kayaking before, so sea kayaking did seem a bit intimidating but I'm so glad that I went out.

Our instructor Juliet was great - she really knows her stuff and was clearly passionate about getting folk out on the water. Our group all gained confidence pretty quickly and we were all cruising through Loch Long with ease.

Our meeting point had to change due to tides, but we were doing our trip by train so had no way of getting to the new meeting point. However Juliet was kind enough to pick us up in Plockton which was a lovely thing to do for my partner and I.

I definitely want to go out sea kayaking again, as does my partner. Would highly recommend for anyone in the area! Definitely worth the money. Probably my favourite part of our holiday in the Highlands.

Also the elevenses flapjacka were lovely!

Fantastic experience. Alison is very friendly and a great teacher. After a few tips and guidance I felt confident in my Sea Kayak despite never having been in one before. Couldn't ask for a better location, the views are spectacular. If you're in the area and have the time this is not to be missed.

Alison was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Before we even hit the water, she made sure we knew exactly what we were doing and was reassuring for those of us who hadn't a lot of experience sea kayaking. Even for my partner and myself who had been before we learned new techniques and new understanding of sea kayaking. The whole day was perfect start to finish, and Plockton's scenery was stunning to see up close. Will be back!

Alison was a brilliant teacher with 20+ years experience. Group of 6 of us, I myself having never have used a kayak before.

No pressure or need to rush, gentle progress across the water.

"Elevensies" flapjack was a nice touch and added to the personal feel of the experience .

Stunning views, good company and decent equipment provided. I have no hesitation recommending Alison for your visit to Plockton. It has certainly sparked an interest in Kayaking for me.

I cannot recommend this highly enough. A fantastic experience, the location is amazing, the quality of equipment very high and the instruction is superb. I've just finished a two day course with my kids, aged 14 & 17. We've all improved so much.
Most importantly, it's really good fun!

We have done a lot of kayaking tours and this is by far the best. I have never been on one that was so well organised. When we arrived we had our own kit, all perfectly sized (we had given weight and height etc) and dry. The kayaks were also chosen with us in mind which meant I was extremely comfortable. Alison was knowledgeable and taught us knew skills. We had the best flapjack as elevensies and a fantastic tour. Seals were a highlight. We had some challenging waters but I have never felt so safe. Can not recommend enough.
