We had a beautiful stay at Big Sky lodges. We stayed at Wildcat. It was fabulous, I especially loved the views, seeing the highland coos outside, the high ceilings and the log burner. And the comfortable beds of course. Everything was very well catered for and high quality, we loved the hand wash and the shower gel!!! The dog has never been happier, he really enjoyed the woodland walks. It’s a stunning part of the world, we’ve already booked to come back.

We spent the most unforgettable week at Big Sky Lodges. Our cabin, Mountain Lodge, was in a peaceful location with everything that we could ask for, lovingly furnished and a real home from home. Great walks close by and a perfect base to explore the Highlands. Ailsa and Jonny were on hand for any information we needed, and we were sad to leave. Would recommend without any hesitation - we’re already planning a return visit.

We had a super stay at Red Kite Lodge. The lodge is very well appointed with everything we needed for a family of 6. There were lovely touches like a welcome pack and local handsoaps. We had great walks in the surrounding countryside and also enjoyed the firepit in the evening. Recommended.

Stayed twice for work and it's a beautiful spot! We rented two lodges for a project meeting and loved it; plenty of space for everyone. A minor issue with the heating and hot water was resolved within the hour. We'll be back.

We stayed in October 2023 and had the most magical week. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit eating apple crumble I made in the well equipped kitchen looking at the stars. The woods were wonderful for a walk and adventure, though we didn’t see any squirrels! Locally there is so much to do and it is ideally located for amenities.

The cabin was beautifully furnished and the beds were very comfortable.

The owners are super friendly but not intrusive, which was ideal for us.

We have booked to come again in October, we can’t wait.

We had a fabulous stay at Blue Sky Lodges! The accommodation was absolutely perfect and had absolutely everything you could need. It was very comfortable and cosy and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends and family (the first place we can say that about!). Where else can you have Highland Cows so close!||There is plenty to do in the area (no matter the weather) and we had a great time exploring. We had days on our bikes, in the hills, on the Black Isle and in Inverness. Thank you Ailsa and Johnny!

Lovely big and clean log cabins just outside the Muir of Ord. Very spacious with all the comforts you need on holiday. Dog friendly and a large woodland area you can walk the pooches around. The cabin had 1 double room and 2 twin rooms, 2 bathrooms, with your own little private garden with a fire pit and bbq. Perfect relaxing holiday.

We, as a family (2 adults + 2 children) have visited Big Sky Lodges for a number of years now and it never disappoints! The children are now adults and totally appreciate the peace and tranquil setting of the lodges. It has simply provided them with sweet childhood memories of their stays at Big Sky Lodges and they are still as eager to come with us now even though they are fully grown adults!
The magical feeling of staying in a log cabin fully supplied with everything you could ever need for a stress free break away and seeing the highland cattle just outside your door is just so relaxing and refreshing. If that isn't enough, the woodland walk just a stones throw away will certainly be enjoyable and allow you to breathe in the fantastic Scottish fresh air.
The lodges are supper equipped with all great condition crockery and cutlery, a great selection of soap, shower wash, towels and Superb Egyptian cotton bedding.
The log fire place is just the cherry on the top. Sitting, watching the logs burn is magical, warm and cosy after a day out driving and seeing the beautiful mountains and scenery.
It is a dream to stay here and the pictures and video is exactly how it looks and feels.
