A Memorable Day in the Highlands with Happy Tours!

Our family had an unforgettable day with Happy Tours in July 2024, guided by the incredible Andrew. We visited Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle, Clava Cairns, Culloden Battlefield, and other stunning sites throughout the Highlands. Andrew was a pleasure to spend the day with — knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely funny.

The highlight for our family was the visit to Culloden Battlefield. Andrew took his time walking us through the site, sharing the history with depth and respect. It was moving, educational, and something we'll always remember.

We highly recommend Happy Tours and especially Andrew for anyone looking to explore the Highlands with an expert who clearly loves what he does.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Unforgettable Isle of Skye Tour with Andrew!
We were a group of seven ladies, and our day touring the Isle of Skye with Happy Tours and the wonderful Andrew was simply amazing! From the moment we started, Andrew made sure we were comfortable, informed, and entertained. He planned the perfect route with plenty of well-timed breaks, breathtaking viewpoints, and hidden gems—always accompanied by fascinating stories and local lore.

Despite a bit of Scottish weather, Andrew kept the mood light and the adventure moving. His knowledge of the area was incredible, and his recommendations for the best photo ops and stops made the experience feel truly personalized.
He was fun, friendly, and absolutely looked the part of our charming Scottish guide. We loved that he honked when we past by his moms house and all waved!

By the end of the day, we affectionately dubbed ourselves Andrew’s Lassies! His sparkling Scottish personality was the highlight of an already spectacular day.
We couldn’t have asked for a better guide or tour. Highly recommend Happy Tours—and if you’re lucky enough to get Andrew, prepare for a day you won’t forget!

We had the best time on the Isle of Skye day tour! Our guide, Andrew, was wonderful. He knew so much about the area and stories you can only get from a true local. We saw so many of our checklist items for our visit to the highlands, all while on a safe and comfortable drive. Highly recommend!

My brother, son, and I had a wonderful private tour with William, when we visited Inverness this past February!! Everything about the tour was fantastic, from the communication in planning it to William’s interesting and funny narration throughout the day. We booked two days with Happy Tours. The first day was a 12 hour Isle of Skye tour with Andrew. We added a stop at Torabhaig Distillery and were able to see all the amazing sights of Skye. I highly recommend the 12 hour tour as there are additional stops that are well worth it! The second day was a personalized tour with Andrew to Urquhart castle, Falls of Divach, Corrimony Cairn, Plodda Falls, Rogie Falls, and Singleton Distillery. Andrew added a fun stop at Robertson's The Larder & Highland Cows in Beauly so we could meet Jamie and Katie, their highland cows.

Andrew was fabulous! Lots of knowledge of the areas and sites, really professional all the way around. His stories were great! We would absolutely recommend this company and guides, and would book with them again. Also - great, timely communication with Cameron, the owner.

We had a wonderful experience with Happy Tours and our guide, Andrew. He took us up to the Isle of Skye with many fun and informative stops along the way. He was warm, personable and taught us a lot about the history of the region and the people. Our six year old even asked if we could see Andrew again the following day. Stuart was so attentive and great with our group and my Mom, who has accessibility issues. He really took care of us all. Very informative and has a great passion for his country. He set everything up for us at each location, and added a personal touch with our group. The tours were fun too!

The next day we had a tour of Loch Ness with Niall and he also was accommodating and personable with the whole group. Niall also has a love for his country and was so knowledgeable and conversed easily with our group and any questions we may have had. He also broke out the bagpipes!

These tours are great. Both guides were excellent and everyone we have dealt with from Happy Tours were friendly and so helpful. We actually canceled a tour with another company to use Happy Tours a third time when we go to the Isle of Skye. Excited for that!
