Don't be put off by the parking charge. It's well worth £3 to visit this vast, beautiful estate. There's a coffee shop, restaurant, great walks and other amenities.

A great estate for walks. While it’s good that there are things for families to do, over the past few years there’s been a growing sense of cashing in - with the ”activities” taking over the nature. The food establishments have gone seriously down hill. It’s always been expensive but this time a poor quality burger (no fries) and hot dog (single sausage) was £25. The two coffees (extra ££) were so bad they were literally undrinkable. A shame.

This is a nice enough country park. Does have some nice paths. Have been coming here for years. Some good events hosted here. Pay 3 pounds to park now. Fort Douglas kids enjoy but it's frustrating to have to pay entry as an adult when it's for the children not me. Food and drinks nice but pricey.

This is the best adventure experience I have had with my family till date. The place is very beautiful, safe, and well organised. There is plenty of space and so much for the kids to do. We only went to Fort Douglas but you can feel that every while will be the same. Also they have varieties of relaxation, restaurants and refreshments.

Incredible outdoor playground with lots to do for kids of all ages, including wooden tree houses with slides and bridges, and bouncy inflatables.
Food in the restaurant, especially the full breakfast, is excellent and good value with friendly table service from all staff.
Parking on site is a bit limited so advisable to arrive early and book a slot for the playground in advance.

Went on a dog friendly, wheelchair accessible walk through beautiful woodland. Plenty of parking, £3 for the day which is great value, cafe is a bit expensive at £5 for a yum yum but you could always take your own

Me and my little family went there for 2nights camping and what an experience it was

I would recommend this place to anyone, how clean everything was and we even went to the restaurant to get breakfast and food was delicious 🤤 drinks were great too Mhh not even going to speak about how amazing the customer service is all around the place.
