The cottage was ideal it is fantastically located close to a wonderful beach, it is in a rural location but is close enough to Balevannich for eating out and shopping for groceries.
The cottage is warm and comfortable and absolutely lovely, there is a EV charger which is really handy for car charging.
Donald is a fantastic host and made us very welcome and nothing is to much trouble, we will be returning to this brilliantly located absolutely perfect cottage.

We stayed in this lovely renovated cottage in August 2024. There was a welcome basket of local products which we enjoyed. The kitchen and bathroom are in good working order and there was plenty of space in the bedroom to dry our clothes after some good old Hebridean rain! The cottage is a five minute walk from a beautiful beach and a short drive from a supermarket. Perfect location for exploring Benbecula and the Uists.

We stayed in Culla Cottage for two weeks and found it a great, well-equipped, comfortable cottage. It's situated right next to a lovely (and generally empty) beach facing onto the Atlantic with distant views of the Stephenson-built lighthouse on the Monach Islands.

The cottage is located very near Balivanich, which while it won't perhaps win any beauty awards, does have a good supermarket, a restaurant and all the things you need on your doorstep. Generally, it's a very central location with easy access to the Uists and surrounding islands.

The owners are very hospitable and I would highly recommend Culla Cottage if you want a cosy base for exploring the Outer Hebrides.

Beautiful, very well appointed cottage in a lovely location close to a sheltered, sandy bay. Dog friendly with an enclosed garden and walks in all directions.

Looks beautiful. I have never stayed there but it definitely looks nice. The whole island is beautiful if the weather isn't being a right pain.
