Friendly atmosphere. Very central. Gorgeous when the sun is shining. Quite alot like Craggy Island, which is great if that's what you're into. Good gift shop. And at least 3 different beaches.

Balivanich is like the capital of the uists, its all there, cafes, bank, airport, McLennan super market (brilliant), hospital, dentist etc but no pub, not forgetting the beaches all three
