Re previous older coments Gateway to Galloway does exist, staff are helpful, lots of tourist info available and lovely gifts to buy. So go on pay them a visit, check times first for opening

Had time before catching a ferry so visited tourist information office. The space is lovely with so much interesting posters etc. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Great place worth a visut.

We have been in here many times to book ferry tickets to Belfast. The two lady's who were there today was fantastic and a great asset at promoting Scotland's tourist industry. So welcoming and professional with the added personal touch. Would recommend any visitor to the area to go and have a look and chat to them.

Visited yesterday and found a gem amongst tourist information centres; the lady could not have been more helpful. NOTE: the centre is now located at the Breastworks car park in the building with the clock tower - 13 Market St, Stranraer DG9 7RF. (Update submitted.)
