Absolutely fantastic shop with wonderful owners. I had a bike around 30 years old that has a lot of sentimental value however, was extremely run down. I put it in and was turned around quickly and at an amazing price. Still running great considering its age and forever grateful. Would highly recommend for all your bike needs!

Came away on holiday to nearby Dalbeattie and found that the gears on my practically new bike, had stopped indexing properly. Thinking the Mountain Biking break was going to be ruined (this was lunch time on a Friday!) I gave these guys a call. They were more than happy to fit me in.

Bike was sorted within a couple of hours, with an honest diagnosis and an extremely fair price (I honestly expected to be paying double, give they'd squeezed me in!)

Can't recommend them enough and would be my go to when I'm back in the area and need some help. Thanks again.

Good stock and some nice bikes, but do they not know basic customer service. I have been in multiple times and never once have they spoken to me nor acknowledge my existence. Definitely try and improve on Ur talking skills to make a trip to your rather good bike a little more welcoming.

I’ve taken delivery this week of a Giant TCR Advanced Pro1 2019 model. A friend alerted me to this bike as he knew I was looking for this hard to find model as he knew I wanted rim and not disc brakes.
I was more than a little apprehensive as the bike was for sale via eBay in a small bike shop in Scotland and I live in Cornwall, therefore because of distance and Covid 19 restrictions travelling to view it wasn’t an option.
Immediately , as I spoke to the owner (Andy) by telephone I automatically felt at ease as he seemed genuine and he couldn’t have been more helpful .
The only fly in the ointment was the terrible and unprofessional delivery firm. Parcel fArce. I contacted them as the tracking number Andy had issued me with wouldn’t register on P Forces website and when I rang them on two separate occasions they denied they’d ever received the bike. However, Andy went above and beyond to sort the fiasco out and I eventually took delivery of the bike after it being in the system for 5/6 days. It arrived well packed and in perfect condition and is a thing of beauty.
If you are in the area,or indeed looking for a new bike I can’t recommend CD cycles high enough.
I’m extremely satisfied.

Fantastic! Had an acid cube which i had rode into the ground which was in pieces. Needed the full works! Wheels all major components and a full mot. Took what was left in. Complete new bike in a week.Great advice. Great knowledge. Knew exactly what it needed. Left it with them. Spot on! The bike now does the work where before i had to. Ten out of Ten! I am a very happy man and would and will recommend castle douglas cycles every time. A big thankyou to the whole team! 😁👍

Visiting area with bikes, but son's bike brake pads worn to metal and retaining pin seized up.
Rang The Cycle Centre and the owner said bring it straight down. I went for a coffee in CD while he repaired it. He also showed me the chain was stretched and rusty and the cassette teeth were worn. He offered to do that for me too. My son is 28 yrs. old with a form of autism so he cant service/ maintain his bike and I dont always get time.
I have no hesitation in giving 5* to the Cycle Centre, for great, prompt, friendly service. The bike is running and stopping well so we can get on with exploring this wonderful scenery.Thank you Cycle Centre!
