I had a brief but immensely positive experience working with Mandy during a recent placement. I struggle with phone anxiety quite a bit, so more often than I should I will avoid dialling out altogether through fear of falling over my words or making an fool of myself.
Through all the people I've had to work with over the phone regularly, only a handful have stood out; thanks to their ability to alleviate that fear and the agent 'Mandy' has been one.
She epitomizes professionalism with a personal touch, consistently demonstrating empathy, understanding, and genuine care. From the outset, Mandy made me feel valued and at ease with her casual and approachable manner. Her tone was welcoming and not far off like talking to a friend who had your back, and I can't stress how important this is for people like me who hesitate to pick up the phone.

Previously I've had some recruiters enhance the truth in order to make a workplace seem like a good fit in order to get you to go - but in this case; everything was exactly as described and the company workforce were all happy, had high morale and looked after each other. (I don't know if I should mention who the company was, but it's a line of work we all rely on daily for an extremely important task many take for granted).
For anyone else reading this who might be shying away from a work placement because it's worlds away from everything else you have done before; try it anyway. Who knows, you might find a job you actually enjoy.

I walked in as i spotted the bold and colourful travail sign tucked away just in cheltenham and was greeted by Mandy and a young lady who gave me and my girlfriend a wonderfully most human contrast of off the cuff experience which every agency seems to totally lack for me, i prefer realism and these consultants were unbelievably down to earth and very driven to match my skillset, you can walk out of agencies feeling uncertain if youll ever get a response.. not with this company or branch absolutely great !
