Calum at Bothies & Bannocks really helped me out of a fix when organising transport for my organisation's conference field trips. Based down in south-west England myself, I was really struggling to find enough transport to take delegates to some quite remote sites in the Cairngorms, with no local knowledge. Calum stepped in to not only provide two of his own vehicles, but source another two vehicles from two different companies, liaising with his local contacts to arrange this for me, without charging commission for this extra service.

One of our trips was to a site with a newly constructed access road for forestry which wasn't yet visible on Google Maps, so Calum took a cycle ride out there in his free time to check out the site and ensure we could access it with the vehicles we had booked. It was really lucky he did, as the track wasn't suitable for the minibus we had booked with another company, so we were able to swap vehicles around and avoid disaster!

Calum really went above and beyond to provide an excellent service with an incredibly positive attititude and really useful local knowledge. Communication was always prompt and friendly, and I felt in safe hands. On the day of the trips themselves, everything went incredibly smoothly and the service was excellent. It really helped reduce the stress of the large-scale event I was organising and I will be forever grateful to Bothies & Bannocks - I can't recommend them enough!

Calum had the pleasure of taking our rowdy group of misfits around the countryside and was absolutely phenomenal. He picked us up from the airport in Aberdeen and transported us to our hotel in Speyside, took us on a tour of Burn o' Vat, and to the airport in Edinburgh. On the way to Edinburgh, he took us around St. Andrews and took us to an amazing lunch spot, with enough seating for our party of 9. He was very knowledgeable about the area, had great food and drink suggestions, a good sense of humor, and was very enjoyable to be around! Calum did not simply take us from point to point, he informed us about all the wonderful things about Scotland along the way and answered all of our random questions.

When, and not if, we return to Scotland, we are going to make sure to look Calum up and have him take us on some more adventures!

Calum was the best! He created a great itinerary that was customized to what our large group wanted. He gave us great insights into the areas we drove through which made the experience all the better. The tour left from and returned to our hotel which was also awesome. Highly recommend Cullum’s transport service. We luckily found Bothies & Bannocks through Cycle Highlands bike shop in Ballater.

On a tour through Scotland we ended up in Ballater and needed to get to Aberdeen in a short amount of time. Callum was ready in flash and took us and our bikes with little to no notice. Unknowing to us we booked the best tour guide in the area and our ride was relaxed and full of knowledge of the Aberdeenshire area.

He grew up there and resides locally, so he’s a good source of knowledge and tips.
