This was a tricky process because of the complexities of this particular rural house sale including joint owners, unoccupation and considerable repairs needed. We selected Balfours to take us forward and this proved to be the optimal choice. Marketing was exemplary with excellent brochures and extensive coverage. A buyer was soon found and when this fell through, Balfours worked like lightening to get the house back on the market and find a new buyer. I have sold a few houses but I have never encountered anybody so resourceful, resilient, intuitive, diligent and generally just brilliant as Amy from Balfours. Truly outstanding, Amy was there every step of the way, to push things through, offer guidance, provide a shoulder to cry on, liaise with all parties and get us through to exchange and completion. I would heartily recommend Balfours to anyone who is looking for an agent with integrity to handle their house sale.

My partner and I have our houses for sale here in town. Mine is a five bedroom modern detached house and my partner has a four bedroom 1930s detached town house. We were shown the door and not that politely either. We were told, "We do not have buyers for your type of property!" Oh dear Balfours you might pride yourselves on your clientele but we are of the opinion that your professionalism may need reviewing. All rather disappointing - sorry for the negative review but we felt very embarrassed which is a shame as other agents in the town were very professional, courteous and wanted our buisness.
