Mourne Mountains Adventures provide an excellent and friendly hiking experience with loads of locations. Robbie is an exceptional and informative guide with loads of mountaineering expertise. Personally I always have a great experience in any of the guided hikes he provides which keeps me coming back!!! I cannot recommend him enough. Go and get one booked!!!!

I loved my hike in the Mournes! Robbie was a great coach and I enjoyed hiking with a group. The views were unbelievable and I found the group dynamic a comfort on unfamiliar routes. I would recommend going out with Robbie anytime of the year for if the weather doesn't permit he'll let you know and your safety will come first. Thanks a million Robbie!

Wow what a day! One of the toughest things I’ve done yet but glad I choose mourne mountain adventures to do this with. Very professional. Dave was our guide, a man of few words but he sure knows what he’s doing & will help get you through the challenge. His wife Karen (a pure angel to the group) was on the hike helping guide us through. She’s a pure delight & such a beautiful soul to have on a hike with you. If you’re considering a hike in the mountains I 100% recommend going through Robbie’s team! They will get you through the mountains safely. Thanks guys 👣 🥾 ⛰️

Robbie of Mourne Adventures guided myself and adult family into the heart of the Mournes last Sunday ! It was my 60th birthday that day so being able to get out there and up Mt Doan seeing the heart of the Mourne mountain range was just fantastic ! Robbie is an absolute legend with his knowledge of the Mournes , his expertise out there making safe , fun and so informative . He’s awesome and so are the Mournes !

Absolute delight to deal with, Robbie was extremely fast following my initial query on completing the Mourne Wall Challenge. The detailed information provided grave my reassurance I was able to take on this event.

Mourne Wall Challenge was challenging but extremely well run with experienced Mountain navigators leading from the front, rear along with a runner to assist in returning people to base if they get into difficulty.

Highly recommend booking with Mourne Mountain adventure if you want to take a massive challenge with the assurance you are being lead by experts

I completed the guided 7x7 's with Mourne Mountain Adventures in April 2024 and absolutely loved how welcoming the team were. It was such a a great day that I came home that night and immediately booked another expedition with them to Wales in 2025. In the meantime I saw that the team were running an overnight adventure for children so I joined up with my two children. Robbie was our guide and he taught us ( me included) orienteering and the history of the stone men of the Mournes. Then there was an overnight camp plus some great stop offs for food. It was truly a fantastic family weekend and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. Mourne Mountain Adventures is run by Robbie whose enthusiasm for the Mournes and the outdoors is infectious. Don't think you have to be super fit and athletic to enjoy these trips.. I'm certainly not.
