We hired 5 adult bikes and we had good service, everyone was friendly, but the selection and quality of bikes was questionable. My sister and I were offered to try a bike out - we are 10cm different in height so it seemed unlikely we would take the same size bike. And then my nephews who are 10cm taller than me were on smaller bikes. Once we were fitted with our oddly sized bikes (we were keen to get out) then we had to stop numerous times to put the chains back on, particularly at the beginning. In the end we found that if we didn't change gears (challenging because there were numerous slopes) then we could keep moving. The cycle route was well signed and 2 hours was ample for making it round the lake with breaks to see the scenery. Lovely views too. We booked for 3 hours so did an extra loop of Stones Island and the Dam trail. We did recommend one of the bikes in particulsr had a service but the guy we returned them to did not appear too bothered. So we recommend you ask for a black bike (they were really good) and definitely not a red one!

Had a lesson here, family of three plus a random person (were not expecting a fourth person, but fair enough).

Scott was lovely and took us as he found us. Good lesson in just under an hour. Now feel confident we could hire sit-on-top kayaks and have fun on the water.

I have fished here for several years and have never been disapointed, great facilities and good fishing. July 2024 fished twice in two weeks, caught 5 each time, several members of my group caught into double figures with some very respectable sized fish.

Absolute rubbish customer service, hired two electric bikes today 28/06/25. My wife’s was ok but filthy, mine was again filthy looked like it had never seen a wash! Had only half a charge, replaced it for another, after 5mins realised that both tyres were almost flat and the chain was loose. I spoke to the manager who explained the bikes are not checked regularly and not charged at the end of the day? So when are they charged and checked? Both staff appeared to have nothing much to do so why doesn’t the manager get them to was there filthy stock?
I’m fed up with companies not providing a decent service and behave like they’re doing you a favour.

Excellent service!! I hired a bicycle, and they only took like 10 minutes to replace my bike without any quibbles when the chain got stuck in the the pedal cogs! Lovely morning out on the bike trails!

One lovely walk... if you have the stamina. It's the better part of 10miles (felt like more). And on a sunny day you simply cannot beat it.
It's fun, healthy and free (except the car park £2).
The views are really nice and so is the children's play area.
It's surprisingly clean for the amount of visitors, food is decent and reasonably priced.

Absolutely 5 stars. Excellent organisation of the day. Great communication to help us get the most out of the day.
Lovely and genuinely professional staff. We were supplied with wet suits, safety jackets. We all thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would highly recommend it. Fun, fun and fun waiting for you if you decide to go for this activity.
The activity offered exceptionally good value for money. We went as a group of 18 and could not recommend it highly enough.
