Let down by Uber never confirming, despite suggesting it would in 12 minutes when booking. We called Rays taxis our dinner reservation just 15 minutes away. Rays taxis arrived in 5 and had us there on time.

Great service and the price cheaper than the Uber we were offered.

Pre booked a taxi days in advance. Was in an area with bad signal so could not complete an advance payment, was told this was okay. Despite constant communication and attempts to pay in advance, had the taxi cancelled at 1am before a 9am pick up. Couldn’t get another cab due to signal so had to walk 8 miles to the station in order to make my train! Would avoid!!!

Amazing service. We only needed short journeys due to having our mum with us who's in her 70s and can't walk too far.
So polite and nothing was too much.
Made our stay in cromford so much easier

Used Ray's taxis a couple of times to take us back from the Whitworth hospital im Darley Dale to Chesterfield, came within the ten minutes allocated and both times the drivers were very polite and engaging in conversation. Will definitely use again if need be.
