I know there are minimum expectations of estate agents in this country, but the sales team at the Watford branch of Proffit & Holt provides a ridiculous service by any low standards. On completion, there was confusion about releasing the keys, and even then, one key was handed over - go and find everything else on your own. No one knew where the rest of the keys were, where the gas and electricity meters and mains fuse box were, or where the internet and CCTV were connected to, and their response was, "We can assure you everyone is as bad as us in this industry". This chap, Phill, is rude enough to claim we were disappointed because we were first-time buyers. Not true. Do avoid. Even the dream house isn't worth dealing with the likes of Phill.
