Excellent service as always from Europcar.
From the lovely receptionist, with super friendly and fast check in. To fast and no hassle return.great location and very close to where we lived.
The car was super clean and we had the big Ford Transit with high roof which really helped us doing our house' moving with ease.
Thank you very much for excellent service.. special thanks to the lovely Receptionist B for lovely welcoming..

Terrible experience. Charged £20 because they were closed on bank Holliday Monday to drop off car and keys. Also trying to make a claim against me for scuffed allows which I have pictures of before I took out the rental. Cheap skates. Don’t bother buys take a uber or the train.

Had a booking confirmed online and over the phone by an agent only to go pickup my car this morning and be told the booking was cancelled and not informed of this prior to pickup. An absolute nightmare location with no sense of responsibility in regards to informing customers of issues with a booking. To top this off the woman at the front desk, Erin was extremely rude and unprofessional. I do not recommend this place at all. Save your time and money.

I recently used Europcar for a car rental and overall had a neutral experience. The booking process was smooth and user-friendly, and I appreciated the convenient location.
At the pickup point, the staff was courteous and efficient, helpful, and the car provided was clean and in excellent condition. The range of Vehicles were not there I had to choose but to accept what was available. The return process was quick and hassle-free, but the charges transparency would have given me more satisfaction. Even the Deposit return is quite delayed, expect to be more swiftly deposit refund.
Area that could be improved is transparency in charges & vehicle availability, but overall, I would recommend Europcar again based on this experience.

Upon arrival, I immediately had a sense that it was going to be a long morning — especially when I noticed the same staff member at the desk who had turned me away during a previous visit. Unfortunately, that feeling turned out to be accurate.

The system was apparently down again, and I was told my payment couldn’t be processed. The process was slow, tedious, and quite frustrating. While the staff member seemed like a genuinely kind person, this was yet another disappointing experience at this branch (Watford)

To make matters worse, there was an issue with the address on my booking, which led to further confusion. I ended up paying more than I expected and received a refund that was less than what I believe I was owed. I’m still unclear on exactly what went wrong, and the entire situation left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied.

Overall, the lack of clarity and efficiency made for a disappointing experience, especially considering it wasn’t the first time I’ve had issues with this location.

I booked a car for the month of August 25 and needed to make a small correction to the pickup location all other details remained the same - duration timings etc. I notified the customer care department almost immediately to explain the situation. I was subsequently notified that there was nothing they could do with 5 days notice before pickup and that I would either need to pick up the car as per the original booking or lose the rental money 840 pounds. I am on holiday, required the car for the duration of the holiday and was forced to rent another car whilst I contest the problem - simply ridiculous people.
I got no help from customer care, I raised a claim ( complaint) and was told the SLA for turnaround was up to 5 working days. Needless to say no reply to the complaint, it’s like pulling teeth with the zombies in customer care and now need to take them to an arbitration court.
Be very careful folk, this is a company that I have since found out are notorious for this type of thing and other abuses.
Will never touch these clowns again for the sake of my health.
