DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I booked a minibus for my wedding & they cancelled it on the day. We found out when we called them as they hadn’t turned up yet.

Absolute joke, I called this week to confirm and they said it was fine. Today they said they had been calling me to confirm since July but the number they had for me was completely different to my own.

Not worth the hassle. Disappointing for a local firm. Wouldn’t give one star but you have to in order to post.

Used Carlton yesterday for my friends 40th surprise.
Lady controller was brilliant. I explained the event and she made sure the car was on time and the driver was great too.

Booked on phone for an early morning pickup for 0245. Polite and efficient booking staff. Good communication for confirmation by text. Driver was 5 minutes early. Polite and safe driver, easy to talk to. Can't fault service, will.definitely use again.

Dispatcher is extremely rude and impatient, took all my strength to refrain from insulting her and her shallow self. Definitely avoid this place. Even the app and website are poor.

Driver who collected a patient from The Sandford clinic just now refused to advise what car he was driving (for us to find him)
In a very rude way he replied he was the only cab car on the road. Poor customer service 😞

Shocking bad service. I booked a car from Blackfen to Chelsfield Bupa private hospital at 7am. I was worried about operation so anxious anyway and when I got in the (late by 20 mins) car it stunk stale, damp, slight alcohol smell and just horrible. As soon as I got in car the driver asked me how to get to my destination. I said I've only been there once so no idea. The driver was annoyed at me for not knowing the way so I asked if he could put on his satnav he said no...'I don't use it'.
In the end I used mine and guided him (and he mostly ignored me). He swore at dustbin collections, sensible drivers and traffic lights.

The fee was £21 but he had no change and I only had £20's so was not leaving him a £19 tip but he was being really awkward and shouting at me for not having change/ right money. I suggested I went to hospital reception to get money breakdown and he swore at me and said "just give me what you've got'

Will never use this company again.

I was recommended carlton cars by quite a few friends so I'm guessing this might be a rogue, inexperienced, new driver but I would suggest carlton cars stop using this particular driver/ car.
