We recently visited the shop in person after ordering a pair of motorcycle boots online that didn’t quite fit. The team were friendly, welcoming and genuinely helpful throughout the exchange process. Bought a nitro helmet from them. Had a problem with the visor not sitting on the rubber seal, it sounded like a kettle all the time. You could see large gaps at the top and when you pushed the visor onto the seal it stopped. Used it once and took it back to complain shop where manager basically said it's a cheap helmet what do you expect. Retail price of 129.00 I wouldn't call cheap expensive but I would expect the basics like a visor that seals. And yes it does leak water after being told that it wouldn't.
I've spent quite a bit over the years buying jackets helmets and boots etc over the years, won't be going back.

Being out of the motorbiking world for just under 10 years, I would highly recommend these guys to go and speak to about the kit, tips and community. Having walked into the store with it - to be quite honest extremely busy, the staff were absolutely run off their feet, however still took the time to walk me through everything. I dealt the most with James who made it feel extremely painless, good humour and clearly cared about the products I was purchasing, including his own experience also. I have to say it was a very nice re-entry into the world and would highly recommend going to a place that looks after the customer, appreciates what you are trying to achieve and provides proper advice to save money whilst still offering a variety of alternatives both at the high and low end.

Great value for money! My boots were passed thier best and I snagged a bargain, for little over £100 a set of new Frank Thomas sports boots. The range was fantastic!

Been using these for years, and the customer service is going down hill big time!

The staff where to busy bickering over what time who was leaving to acknowledge me and my husband!

I was trying on jeans hubby looking for a lid. 3 members of staff not one asked if we needed help or assistance.

Spending over £300 the young girl didn't offer a bag, and once we left we had to go back in for the pin lock!

Customers service non existing

I have purchased all my motorcycle clothing and accessories from the Durley rd J&S for decades and the staff have always been very helpful and know their products well. I have just purchased a pair of Frank Thomas Renegade jeans for me and a new Alpinestars jacket for my wife. It’s easy to shop online too and is also an excellent experience. In my experience a five star rating.
