Both excellent pieces of kit I recently competed on The Border 100 Road Rally , The Rali Preseli and just recently The Night Owl Road Rally. Two less things to worry about on thes major Welsh events

I bought a full navigation setup from Don Barrow including a brantz tripmeter, cage mounted nav light and magnifier. Jan was incredibly helpful, explaining the benefits of the various options to ensure we bought the best one for what we needed rather than just pushing the most expensive option. I ordered a rechargable led upgrade for my poti. It arrived, but during fitting a plug broke off the circuit board. I returned it to them, but no reply at all. Nobody answers the phone, online chat on their website or e mails... poor service.

Don Barrow have replied, thank you. If you recall the question to you was would this work on an ipad or iphone, As you know they use IOS software and not the OS software that Macs use. The two systems are getting closer but are still not the same, my older version of the Navigator app works on my Mac but not on my tablet. If you can confirm that it works on these as well then of course that would be great, tried to call but offices shut but I'm sure people will find your answer interesting.

I wanted to buy their tulip navigator app and down loaded their free demo version. It was just what I needed but unfortunately the product does not appear to have moved with the times and is only suitable if you want to print out lots of road books. (Think paper and planet here)
I wanted to be able to share the road book to people's phones or tablets but you can't seem to do that, I also rang them to make sure this spread sheet would work on ios systems. The guy I spoke to said it was only designed for excel, with so many users with Apple devices out there you would think they could move with what people want/use. Shame because the actual product is good, but a nod to the modern world would make this a product great. I'm not a tree hugger but printing out say 40 Road books with 40 pages in when a digital version would work equally as well seems wrong. If motor sport is not to be seen as antisocial then anything that can be done to improve the image and experience must be explored. There are green motor sports popping up so why can't rallying do its bit?
