Where do we even start with Jay Jay and Joe — the Scouse dream team who somehow managed to drive a coach full of teenagers all the way to Spain and keep their sanity intact!

From the moment they swapped with another great driver Ian, at Calais, they were cool, calm, and hilarious the entire time. The kids adored them, the staff trusted them, and honestly, we all agreed they were basically part of the team by day two.

Despite refusing to share a paella with us one night — quote: “We don’t do fish” — we still invited them to our staff meal on the final night. That’s how much we liked them. (Though we’re still recovering from the moment Jay Jay murdered his steak by ordering it well done. A crime against meat, frankly.)

Not only did they navigate European roads like pros, but they also managed to keep 40 teenagers calm, entertained, and on time — a miracle in itself.

They took us to the water park and into the heart of Barcelona with ease, somehow always knowing where to park a massive coach in the most convenient places so our kids didn’t die of heat exhaustion from having to walk a few yards into the services.

They were endlessly professional, amazing with the students, and genuinely top blokes. If you get the chance to have Jay Jay and Joe on your trip, take it — they’ll make the journey half the fun- 10/10.

We used Ashcroft Coaches for a school trip to London and they were absolutely incredible. The drivers were so knowledgeable of the city's roads and were so accommodating when we needed to make some last minute tweaks. Our guys Dez and Justin went above and beyond, helping us out whenever they could and made sure that both student and staff were happy and comfortable. They made the experience so much easier alleviating the stresses. We will be using them again - highly recommend.
