I'm sorry to say we won't be coming back to this park.. i booked with a private owner and had no issues on that side of things.. the caravan was perfect, however the park itself is poor.. the restaurant is small and the pool table is very outdated. The entertainment was shocking (nothing against kirsty she was great) the sound system for the music was hard to listen to. Entertainment some days finished at half 9 which is rubbish for adults.. one day there wasn't entertainment as kirsty wasn't well which is fair enough not her fault.. but should have other staff to take over. The arcade was poor very small and not much to choose from. We were told by the lady we booked the caravan with that we could go swimming without booking.. so we got up early Monday to go to be told you have to book (apparently this is new) when we finally got to go swimming the pool is standard.. no one there to rescue anyone if they need help. I needed the toilet and theres 2 toilets.. one didnt even have a door on it! And the other one didnt lock.. now I dont want to have to take my costume off to pee and have a child walk in with me with my knockers in full view... nightmare for both parties! The park doesn't even have a shop! What park doesn't have a shop The food in restaurant is nice but so expensive.. the lady i booked the van with use to get 10% discount for all her guests but they've even stopped that now. There's not much nearby for walking distance so you either need a bus or a car. Its ok for a quiet caravan but not for us im afraid so will not be returning

Last min camping trip to test out new tent. Very very basic, not enough toilets really and even though the showers were hot and powerful the lack of room in the cubical made it hard to get changed needed a hook or 2 on doors. They were cleaned though.
Swimming pool was lovely,
Evening entertainment was as expected. My kids are older and not as interested.
Bar was expensive for food but they did do a kids eat for a quid. Can't comment on food as didn't eat there.
Negative: no security was kept awake by a few families shouting playing loud music till 2/3 am, did speak to reception who advised they would be spoken to. We left early due to it if I'm honest 3 nights of no sleep was not my idea of fun. Luckily live local enough.
Arcades were shocking couldn't get change as the change machine didn't work and when asking at bar they said no. Pool table was broken also no white ball and hadn't been cleaned at all was thick with dust.
Overall 3 stars it could be a lovely site with investment, we stayed on site approx 8 years ago and it has gone down hill since then. Probably wouldn't not return.

Stayed here for 3 nights after doing a week on the Haven site nearby. Before we even got there, we were impressed. We received a phone call telling us that they had a festival on the weekend we arrived and that we were more than welcome to arrive early and take part with what was going on. On arrival, we were greeted with pleasant, helpful staff who informed us our caravan was ready early. The caravan was beautiful, spotless, plenty of room and a beautiful decking area with really nice outdoor furniture we couldn't have been happier. The site itself is pretty small, but it has a lovely park on site, a nice indoor swimming pool, which again was spotless. A little arcade and a beautiful bar that served decent food again with really pleasant and polite staff. The weekend festival they put on we thought was brilliant, the live music at night with a bar and catering van outside we absolutely loved and all of us really enjoyed. We thought the young lady hosting the entertainment and doing the children's activities was absolutely brilliant, I didn't get her name, but we thought she was a credit to your site. Would recommend to anyone and would definitely return, thanks for everything.

Liked: Lovely site, very clean and well kept. Staff very helpful and friendly too.
I got our stay very cheap compared to other sites in the area for July so was unsure what it would be like when we arrived but it was wonderful and I’d definitely stay again!
Fantastic views and lots of open countryside/wildlife too.

Disliked: Only thing I would have found helpful, especially as a single parent, would have been a larger/more open/family shower area. We did manage fine though and it wouldn’t stop me going again, just would make things a little easier!

I stayed at this park with my family which includes 2 Adults 3 Children (ages 15,4,1). Im no stranger to caravan holidays and this one was there worst in terms of what was on offer by the park. We stayed in a privately owned caravan that i couldn't fault this was with Nield Lodge Hol Rentals. However out of the caravan the park lacked essentials like a shop for those everyday essential needed whilst there. Entertainment was limited and running on a trail basis... kirsty was trying her best but support from Away Resorts is need as entertainment should be on offer to cater for all types of guest. Our last main night had no entertainment on so couldnt fully enjoy our last night there. The pool wasn't man by lifeguards so drowning at own risk is possible. Food was nice if it was available & draught drinks was a poor choices. So in all if your the type of people that enjoy entertainment throughout your holiday till late and need that on site shop... and reassurance for when playing in the pool id think of alternatives that offer this.||If your the quiet type and like to stay indoors this maybe the park for you.||In reflection I wouldn't be choosing New Perran as a holiday destination again sorry to say.

Last min none electric camping getaway last week and I was really impressed. Lots of outdoor, well maintained space which was kept clean and tidy. Areas to pitch your tent next to natural wind breaks (hedges etc), fantastic location for star gazing! We saw shooting stars and watched a lightning storm in the distance!Toilets are clean and spacious and again maintained regular. Washing up facilities also. Only x2 showers, one of which is a very tiny space but I think that's a fare compromise when your camping rates at such a fab location are really good value for money. Some places just have a portaloo, so full working toilets and showers are a luxury when your camping and not glamping!
It was free to use their swimming pool (which is fab) and access their entertainment, something of which other sites would likely charge you for. Staff were friendly, especially Kirsty, Holiday Rep - she was so positive, friendly, engaging and informative - she taught me and my daughter the Steps Dance for a giggle one afternoon!
It does get a little windy at times, so make sure you bring windbreaks and extra tent pegs.
2mins drive from Goonhaven village, around 10mins to Perranporth and 15mins to National Trust Crantock.
I will most definitely revisit this site next year. Peaceful site, friendly and helpful staff, fab location and great value for money considering the location your in. Thanks for our stay!

Pleasantly surprised at how nice our dog friendly caravan was on our short stay!
Overall the park is very nice, clean and friendly with a nice clubhouse/bar/restaurant as well as an indoor swimming pool.
The one think surprising lacking is an onsite shop for those essential purchases.
There is a very good and well stocked londis about 20 minutes walk away down the country lane.
