Newquay’s beach is perfect for family outings, relaxation, and gatherings with friends. It offers everything typical of beaches, plus local specialties like Cornish bakeries. It provides excellent opportunities for surfing and other water sports.

A vibrant and busy working fishing harbour for the Newquay fishing community and tourists alike.
There’s plenty to do for all and if you’re lucky you may see the seal population of Newquay.

Great harbour. Good for wild swimming but you need to be careful of the boat anchors. It is shielded so good in higher winds, but be careful of tides as the further beach can be cut off in high tide. Stairs good for item storage.

Very sheltered, so excellent for a peaceful swim at high tide, great views from the top, intersting wildlife like the occasional seal, kingfisher or sparrowhawk. Quite a few places to you can chill and eat or watch the boats come and go. I have to say this is my favourite location in Newquay.

Nice little harbour, sandy bottom ideal for a swin out of the rough sea. Lots going on, kids playing, sailing boats, paddle boards and Ice Cream. Well worth a visit. For me the best bit of Newquay.

Newquay was rather wet when we visited but we certainly did not let this dampen our spirits. Eventually finding parking on the outskirts, we walked into Newquay. After a coffee we ventured to Fistral Beach before walking along the headland. Beautiful views and watching the many activities undertaken by all the different age groups in the sea. Certainly seemed like a lot of practical but fun things for the children to do.
As we headed back to Newquay, via the harbour, we stumbled across the Harbourstreet kitchen and boathouse bar. Best pizza for a very long time! Highly recommend it and this place for food. Lots of different establishments that you order from on your phone. It's then brought to your table. Fab!
