Safari holiday in Kenya

My amazing safari holiday in Kenya was arranged by the brilliant Bridget. She had previously organised a beach holiday for me, my daughter and granddaughter in Minorca so I already knew she would come up trumps!
Bridget listened carefully to my wishes and my anxieties as this was to be my first solo trip since losing my husband. He and I travelled quite extensively and I finally reached the point where I felt ready to resume exploring the world on my own. Bridget was mindful of my reservations and gently encouraged me with suggestions. There was never any pressure on me to make decisions and when I’d whittled it down to a choice between two I felt totally comfortable asking Bridget to a give me her opinion. Clearly she has huge experience and she ensured that she knew me well enough to be able to give her advice. As soon as she made her suggestion I realised I’d actually already decided the same, but just needed confirmation. I think this is one of Bridget’s rare talents, to know her clients better than they know themselves!
Once everything was booked Bridget continued to reassure and guide me. We had a catch up shortly before the departure date to discuss practicalities such as suitable clothing, currency, plugs and insect repellents! She checked me in for the flights there and back and would have sorted the ETA (visa) for me too but I did this myself.
I was very impressed with Titan, the company Bridget used on this occasion. I was in a small group of mainly solo travellers which was ideal for my initial adventure by myself. This meant I had company if I wanted it but also the chance to have some time alone. The driver and guide were superb, friendly and knowledgeable. The itinerary was perfect and I opted for the additional excursions of a boat trip and a hot air balloon ride. The accommodation was of a high standard and the food was incredible! I’m rather a fussy eater but there was always plenty of choice and I certainly didn’t go hungry!
Of course, the animals were the stars of the show and I never dreamt that I’d be so close to them! Lions, cheetahs, giraffes, elephants, impalas, zebras, hippos, ostriches, buffalos, warthogs, hyenas and so many more - it’s one thing seeing these animals in a zoo or safari park, but these were wild animals in their natural habitat!! A truly breathtaking experience.
Being picked up from home and dropped back at my front door at the end was a real bonus. One small hiccup was the driver who collected me was late due to overnight road closures and so I was delayed arriving at the airport which I found stressful. Bridget will provide feedback to the company regarding this and we both learned that for the future I need a hotel near the airport for the night before flying!
I’ve only been home a week and have already met with Bridget to discuss where my next adventure will be! I am completely confident that she will find me the perfect trip tailored to what I want but with her expertise adding aspects I wouldn’t even know were possible.

Booked a fantastic holiday to Sti Lanka with World Class Adventures. Previously we had arranged something similar through a well known high street agent but it was cancelled due to the unrest in Srl Lanka at the time. Bridget bettered the agenda at a smaller cost and all from the comfort of your own home. Bridget couldn’t do enough to tailor the perfect holiday for us. Bridget at World Class Adventures arranged a long overdue visit (from our part) to Rome for us. We gave a her a brief outline of what we were looking for and she turned that into a memorable trip for us with no hitches. Travel times were at reasonable hours for us, transfers to/from Airport were excellent, as was the hotel and its location ideal within easy walking distance to many sights and plentiful restaurants for all tastes. Bridget was contactable at all times if needed, although we didn't need to, but she did check-in with us to check that all was OK which was a nice touch. Not sure if she had anything to do with the weather, but if she did she did a fantastic job there as well, it was ideal for us. ?. Great holiday and will be back to use her services again.

Thank you to Bridget for arranging an amazing holiday to Peru for my son and me. It all went smoothly and Bridget was always available to answer questions before and during the holiday. She checked us in to both legs of the flights and sent really useful links before we went away. Nothing was too much trouble and I felt very reassured catching three connecting and completing the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. It was a once in a lifetime journey and I'm very grateful to Bridget for making it happen.
