Absolutely brilliant company!! Totally recommend. I called virgin directly however was answered by travel unravel not even realizing they were an agent till after I bought ticket and saw on my e ticket it was an agent I thought I’d been scammed but all was perfectly fine, the agents were extremely helpful with all my questions as a new traveler, the price was good and the service very friendly efficient and reliable. The flight was excellent and very organized. I will certainly be using them in the future. Very happy x

Review for Travel Unravel / Brightsun

I had a very concerning experience with this company on 30th August 2025. I mistakenly believed I was calling Virgin Atlantic after their website crashed, but was actually connected to Travel Unravel. The agent (Gavin) strongly implied he was linked to Virgin Atlantic and offered me the same seat I had just tried to book online — at a price £350 higher.

Without my proper consent, he placed a booking hold in my name. I later discovered that the same seat was also being held in my name by another agency, Brightsun, even though I had never contacted them. This effectively blocked me from booking directly with Virgin.

When I refused to proceed with the inflated booking, the agent became aggressive. Later, when I phoned back to ask for the holds to be released, he shouted at me.

Thankfully, Virgin Atlantic eventually helped me secure an alternative booking (with a better return seat), but the stress, dishonesty, and intimidation I experienced here were completely unacceptable.

Checking reviews afterwards, I realised I am far from the only customer who has experienced misrepresentation, inflated pricing, and aggressive behaviour from this company.

My advice: book directly with the airline and avoid this company.

Travel Unravel runs a scam on prepaid cruise gratuities for cruise lines such as Celebrity and Royal Caribbean. If you have been scammed, report it to the FTC and the Better Business Bureau. Dispute the charge with your credit card company directly. You can submit any emails or other documents as proof to your credit card company.
By the way, any review that uses the phrase "perfectly fine" is suspicious to me because that is the phrase the scammer (named "Brock") kept using when I asked for an explanation as to why my payment had not been applied!

Our Mother, 92 yrs old, with obvious dementia and confusion, called and booked a ticket through this service. The representative booked a ticket for 3 times the cost under the wrong name. After about 10 hours of phone time, finding out that the ticket was non refundable, I finally got a verbal confirmation on the proper name for the booking. The agent sent the new information to me from his personal email, not through the agent email. Not surprising, the name on the booking was not changed,and every tome I called thereafter the agent was "not available". After more hours on the phone with this "business", I called the airline directly. They acted with compassion and alacrity. They could not refund any of the garbage fees that our mother was charged, of course, but they did correct the booking name and gave a valid confirmation.
Please warn people about this place. Most horrible experience and unwilling to rectify their mistake, or even show compassion for an elderly senile woman.
If I could give -⭐, I absolutely would.

Colin, one of the managers, addressed my review, worked with me to investigate what happened, and issued a partial refund to my mom's card.

This is a dishonest company who preys on the elderly and disadvantaged. My mom needed a simple flight changed through allegiant airlines and somehow This shady company got involved and she paid full price for a new ticket plus an additional $177.

I needed to add a cat on an Avianca international flight from Miami to Cali Colombia. We dialed this third party broker and they were able to add the in cabin pet to my existing reservation. I’m sure we paid a little more than directly with Avianca but it was fast and convenient and worth the $$. Danny helped me out.

This is a FRAUDULENT company. I repeat do not use them!!! They posed as celebrity cruises and set up payment for prepaid gratuities $650 for the cruise. Celebrity cruises had documentation they never received them. On the google search for celebrity this company appears for whatever reason which tells me they pay top dollar for their marketing by scamming people. I was not only required to pay my cruise gratuities but now this company won’t refund my money, despite of their fraud and lack to follow through for payment to Celebrity. They are good scammers. They will read over your reservation number, your booking room, and your itinerary and go over excursions. Make you believe they are a legit company. They are NOT!!! FRAUD!!! FRAUD!! FRAUD! Read the reviews on multiple forums and reddits to confirm this is a BS company. SAVE your money and time!
