We absolutely loved coming here! Everyone was so helpful and friendly. We rented kayaks and wetsuits and buoyancy aids were all included in the price and were in good condition. The highlight for us was how dog friendly it was, and I had my pup out on the water with us in the kayak! There are toilets and changing areas on site with showers. Thank you Sue and team for a lovely afternoon of water activities. We'll definitely be back.

Just got back from camping at this facility. It’s the second time we have been here and have to say that the area is nice and peaceful. It feels very safe too with good fencing protecting the camping area.

Even though you’re only an around 100 metres from civilisation, it feels like you’re out in the wilderness so was great for some r&r, getting away from the day to day.

Good facilities to use too like WC and a cafe if you want a bit of civilisation when on camp, but best of all is Pete who runs the place. So friendly and accommodating. Has a story or 10 to tell and is a reason we will likely be back again next year.

We come here often to use our own SUPs and Kayacks, and used to bring friends and family here often. However have not returned and will be unlikely to return after the experience I had with Pete on a kayak lesson last year. I understand that everyone has bad days, and there had been an issue that had taken a lot of his attention and meant that the lesson started late. Throughout the lesson Pete only spoke to my partner (male) and barely acknowledging me (female). He only demonstrated techniques directly to my partner, and when I asked for clarification or stated that I didn’t understand what he meant, the only feedback I received is that my partner is doing it just copy him. The sexist remark that sealed us not returning is when Pete asked if I was able to get back on the kayak by myself, I replied I could and without looking at me then asked my partner directly can she? When he also affirmed he then re asked are you sure, have you seen her do it?
If you want to be treated with dignity and respect I would recommend taking any lessons with Chloe or any other member of team.
