This is a beautiful place to stay as far as the environment is concerned. Very pretty, lovely old buildings and courtyard. Happy animals etc. However, the room we stayed in, The Tamworth, was very small. There were no long mirrors, nowhere to dry hair or do makeup. Nowhere to sit in the bedroom at all. Nowhere for cases or bags. Just very small. I was very disappointed too at the fact that they offer spa treatments on their website, even though it's through a different company, however, they said they weren't available when we were there. Why are you still claiming there are sp treatments available when they're not? When we booked this place, I was looking forward to a massage. Also, that should reflect the price surely? If you no longer have a facility, then please say so on your website and alter your prices accordingly.

Have just spent 3 night break at Poppinghole holiday cottages. The cottage we had, Old Spot, was extremely well kitted out in the kitchen. The complimentary tea, coffee, milk, wine, bread, butter and jam was a nice touch. The bedrooms have very comfortable beds and pillows. Bathrobes and toiletries are provided as well as plenty of towels including pool towels and slippers. Being able to swim and then relax in the jacuzzi before stretching out on the sun beds or sitting in the sunshine with a glass of wine was the perfect way to relax with family/friends. One of our party had a massage at the on site independent spa room which was lovely. Definitely stay there again for a few days r snd r.

The whole experience from arrival being greeted by Sophie to checking out was exceptional. I had both my treatments by Sophie. She was so caring and professional, making the whole experience very enjoyable and relaxing. I picked the hot candle wax massage and the resurfacing facial. They were both amazing. This was a wonderful present from my daughter and I want to thank you all from Sophie on reception, Sophie who did my treatments and the amazing chef for my lunch.

Amazing spa day in a beautiful well appointed setting. Lovely warm welcome with chilled drinks and snacks on arrival.. The massage and facial were wonderful, one of the best facials I've had ever. Professional friendly staff who create a relaxing atmosphere from start to finish. The food is fresh delicious and plentiful. Already booked to return again next month for a weekend. Ann

Absolutely amazing spa day, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Lunch was so delicious and so much to eat. Our treatments were so relaxing and we had some beautiful weather. We are so glad we got to experience a brilliant day here.

Such a lovely place to visit! The cottage we had for the afternoon was clean, cozy and decorated well. The wines and the cheese platter we had as extras were also delicious! The staff were friendly and helpful, which created a relaxing environment, both myself and my partner were incredibly happy with the results/relaxation achieved. We also loved how secluded the spa area was. We were lucky enough to end up getting the facilities all to ourselves which was lovely!

We will definitely be back at some point.

We had a lovely time here yesterday on a day spa with lunch. The use of the cottage was a great bonus as it meant we had somewhere to relax, chat and get a drink between appointments. Our lunch was also very tasty, with so many choices and good portion sizes. Everyone was happy with what they chose. The treatments were also lovely and relaxing. We very much enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi, especially as we were the sole occupants. The jacuzzi could be a bit easier to get into and a sauna/steam room might be nice additions at some point, but overall we had a fabulous time celebrating Lynne and Sarah's birthdays!

We had a lovely visit to Poppinghole Spa today a real delight from beginning to end.
The cottage was so comfortable there were lovely Christmas decorations and the log burner glowing in the corner. The pool and jacuzzi were a nice warm temperature. I had Sophie for my massage and facial what a treat so relaxing. Lunch was smashing a real feast. A great day out. Thank you.
