I stay in a lot of Hiltons, with variable quality levels (especially “full fat” ones which are normally a little dated). I never leave reviews but St George’s Park was so good I felt I must!||Firstly, EVERYBODY was so friendly, professional and personable. Primrose who checked us in (I hope I remembered the name correctly!) was kind enough to upgrade us above what the Diamond status would normally get. I did ask to pay for this as the extra room would’ve made our stay great, this was a points stay so we didn’t have enough for above the basic family room. This meant we had loads of room and we had a separate room to the kids, therefore we didn’t have to hang out in the toilet after they went to bed 😂 |As we were heading to the room, Adam (again I hope I remembered rightly), the duty manager, saw how much stuff we had and just dived in to help us to our room, with another staff member offering to help as we went up a level! ||The room was decent, probably not far off a refurb, but still so much better than other Hilton rooms. The bathroom was exceptional. The beds were of course comfy and the room was well adorned. The hotel in general is great, the courtyard is really nice and the views across the countryside were fantastic. Oh, and the rooms were incredibly quiet! No buzzing/fans outside etc to disturb us. ||Breakfast was superb and again the staff were so friendly. I didn’t catch their names but they can all be lauded as experts in making the experience lovely. Even the grandparents at the wedding next day complemented the look of the breakfast from some photos. No hassle to make my daughter porridge with just water either, she loved it. ||The staff at the pool were also friendly and just had a good way about them. The pool is clean and there is a steam room/sauna too. The gym is decent, however quite busy in the morning (quite a sports orientated hotel so to be expected!)||Nothing to fault. For other people staying, a note that the executive lounge which we used in night one, has a good selection of beers (peroni, corona, coors and Budweiser. None my favourites but enough for most pallets) yet no Prosecco - the only exec lounge I’ve been without which is no problem, just noted by the wife. However, we had some nibbles (plus they sourced some oat milk for the kids who have lactose intolerances) and decamped to the bar for a very nice pint, and again the staff were friendly and sorted us an ice bucket for the room. ||If you’re a football fan, then you’ll enjoy this hotel. We’re not, but it was still great to look at the trophies and for my daughter to see that it’s not just men playing football, as it’s well documented around the hotel! ||We were at a wedding at Hanbury Wedding Barns and it’s 7 mins away and £7/£8 in a taxi - Uber is available. ||We’ll be back as it had everything we needed and the kids loved it. Thank you all so much, you should all be commended for your positive and personable attitudes.

Had an amazing stay here. The service is top-notch, so many extra little touches such as chocolates in our room and a drink on arrival. The restaurant food is excellent, very good attention to detail when catering for a gluten-free diner, even bringing gluten free biscuits with coffee at the end of the meal. There were a few problems with our order but our waitress D was brilliant and sorted everything out. The breakfast was fantastic, the best hotel breakfast I've ever had! Tip - check out the porridge before filling up on everything else.

My stay was absolutely lovely from start to finish. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was truly excellent throughout my visit.
The room itself was spacious and comfortable, and more than enough for 2 adults and 2 children to share. However, the real highlight of my trip was the spa. It was a truly amazing experience. I had initially booked a massage but was delighted to take advantage of a 40% off offer to add a facial. The spa staff were very accommodating with this last-minute change.
My therapist, Hannah, was fantastic. From the back massage to the facial, she was an absolute professional. I felt completely relaxed and rejuvenated by the end of my treatments. I would highly recommend the spa and Hannah in particular!

It’s without a shadow of a doubt that the staff make this hotel fantastic. In our party we had two with mobility issues and the staff were fantastic. Special mention to Chloe who ensured we were as comfortable as possible, offering use of the wheelchair throughout our stay with her front of house team on standby throughout.

The breakfast, Domanica- wow! She was fantastic, attentive, and generally a joy to meet. Her team equally so (Henry was attentive and helped to carry coffees to the table and help as much as he could)They set up a great kids play area which meant adults could actually enjoy a coffee whilst the kids remained entertained. We will definitely return based on the standout service we have received!!

Lovely setting within the well maintained grounds of England FA national centre.
Plenty of parking.
Lovely reception/ Atrium area.
Rooms spacious and good shower and comfy beds.
Bar area lively with good casual atmosphere.
Leisure facilities good with pool, sauna, steam room and gym.
Bar prices expensive but good choice of beers and spirits.
Food served in Bar and restaurant.
Separate Starbucks disappointing.
Coffee served in cardboard cups and no butter for croissants.
Also no decaffeinated beans, just powder.
Overall an enjoyable visit.

Booked through booking.com for a family room that showed 2 large double beds. After a long day at a theme park we arrived to be shown our room. It was called ‘compact’ |Me, an adult female, my 17 year old, 6’3” son, my 14 year hormonal daughter and 12 year old son, who can be a little spicy in his ways sometimes. Basically a small double and a single sofa bed. I called down to reception where a lovely chap called Jasper ( i think) found us a beautiful adjoining room with 4 beds made up (accompanied by another lovely chap who’s name I didn’t get) and was super helpful, even giving us a free ice lolly and toothpaste as I’d forgotten it! Showers are great, if you like football this is definitely a hotel to stay in (I don’t sadly but my daughter was impressed as lots of young male players here and training) |Very helpful and welcoming and would stay here again and we haven’t yet checked out!

I stayed here for 2 nights whilst working at an event in Derby.

The location is decent and the hotel facilities and rooms were clean.

The staff were truly excellent. I had a migraine come on whilst waiting for my food to arrive in the restaurant.

The staff in the restaurant couldn't do enough. They sorted out me taking my meal upstairs until the migraine subsided and offered some water and offered some medication (although I had my own). The lady who helped me with this truly was an asset to the Hilton brand.

So why only 3 stars? Well the room really let this hotel down. A hard creaky bed and some bathroom fixtures were not working correctly. For the price of the room, I felt a bit short changed, despite the excellent service I received from the hotel's staff.

Our stay overall was good.

The room was nice and spacious. But there were a few problems with it. The light switches were extremely hard to understand. It was like a guessing game of what turns what on. One of the bedside lights kept flickering and making a buzzing sound. Also the bed was extremely creaky. Some of these could be solved pretty easily like putting instructions on how the lights work.

The service we had from the hotel staff was minimal but it was effective. We did eat at The Restaurant which is located on site. The service there was excellent. My girlfriend ordered a pizza but she doesn't like much cheese on hers and we asked for this. Originally her pizza came out with too much cheese and the waiter asked if it was ok. It wasn't and we asked if it could have less cheese. The waiter kindly took it back and apologised. She even gave us a side of fries on the house.

There could have been more signage around the hotel and especially for the restaurant as we didn't know where to stand as we had a reservation.

The location of the hotel though is exceptional. While our room only looked out onto the courtyard it was still nice.

Once again, overall our stay was really good other than a few minor things.
