Lovely and relaxing punt. We are a party of eight, with two ~80yr old seniors that were very brave to get in board despite not being steady on their feet. We were initially worried about them getting in/out but our guide and staff were helpful and encouraging.

We enjoyed our time and our local punting guide of 20+ years experience had interesting historical anecdotes whilst at basked in a sunny and comfortable day.

The waterway was crowded but it added to the sometimes 'tense' yet funny spectacle of boats bumbling around, bumping against each other, and self-punters making a fool of themselves.

Fabulous experience and highly recommended for with GHL.

I loved it. Nice way to spend 45 min on the water. Also informative as the guide tells you all about the buildings and bridges etc. It helps when the weather is good as it was when I went. Not too sure it is fun in the rain.

Freddie was responding to calls and emails whenever I had questions and asked for details. (our train from London was cancelled and we had a 1,5 hour delay, we were late for the arranged trip) nevertheless we were kindly welcomed by John and received an amazing tour on a boat. Paddy and Chris told a lot of interesting historical facts in good understandable English and advised on more places to see in Cambridge.

I had a fantastic tour along the river with GHL Punts. Our guide, Will, was exceptional—he shared a wealth of interesting facts about the different colleges and kept us entertained with some hilarious stories. If you find yourself in Cambridge for the day, I highly recommend taking a tour with them. And next time, be sure to try your hand at punting yourself!

Came to Cambridge for weekend with Friend for her bday. We looked around wanting to go on the punting boats but thought they were a bit pricey until we came across yourselves. Had a fab time enjoy Eds information about punting on the river and the beautiful buildings. A really nice chap thankyou. Jackie and Marie. 😊

I have visited this place now for like 4th time and absolutely loved it
The ride is normally for 45 min and cost you around £20 per person
They are in the middle part of the river so they go to left side first and then to the right side.
Plenty of waiting are and chairs to sit.
Also can get drinks while doing punting.

Best way to reach here is park your car in city centre multi-storey car park (it’s costly around£18 for 3 hours) but it’s like 11 minute walk to the punting area
