Great place! Horses are well cared for, fit and responsive. Obviously loved by the friendly staff/owners who know all their personalities. Brilliant riding country, I really enjoyed my 2 hour hack on gorgeous Jenny today, and helping to groom and tack up made it even better (my choice)...thank you x

Absolutely recommend. I went for a three hour ride in February and it was awesome- despite the weather 🤣 Rode a forward going, fun little half TB mare who was off the leg and so sure footed, really good fun. Lots of canters and no roadwork, all woods, rivers and moors! The ladies here cater for experienced riders very well and make you feel so welcome 🙏🏼

I rode here twice whilst on holiday after a recommendation from a friend and loved it. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about their horses. The scenery was stunning and I'd like to come back another time. My two young sons also did the pony experience, which was perfect for their first time horse riding.

I had a fantastic experience with Pine Lodge. Email communication with Emily was good and I was fitted in for a 2 hour hack at short notice. I rode the beautiful Margo, accompanied by Katie, over the moor and through the woods with sightings of Exmoor ponies and red deer. The horses were all happy and healthy, and clearly loved being out! The yard was well organised and the staff super friendly and welcoming. I can’t wait to return!

I felt in very safe hands here at Pine Lodge. The horses felt very steady and well-cared for, and the guidance provided by the leader was clear and helpful. The trail ride was in a wonderful nearby wood, with many different surfaces and views to navigate but at no point (as a beginner) did I feel out of my depth or unable to ask for assistance.

Went today for our first ride as a couple I haven’t ridden in 12 years and partner last ride 2 years ago ,today we went for my birthday . Iv been desperate to ride since my daughters go weekly riding at another centre but don’t cater for adults .

Emily who works there was wonderful very person centred and chatty no pressure to rush us through etc cus of time scales we only arrived with 10mins to spare before the lesson started . We had very good paitent horses Georgia and Theo . Had such a lovely time walking on the road and then into the woods and off terrain . Horses knew where they were going wich took pressure off being somone who hasent ridden in years and 1 hour ride was enough I think we went slightly over our 1hour . Emily was full off information about the area , how to ride etc . We saw a herd of red deer on there land which was lovely . Horses were well looked after and had the farrier then upon arrival , the horses seemed happy and she made us both feel safe , welcome and that everybody is at different stages of riding therefore they don’t mix rides or classes as no one gets the ride they want wich is great because us too in our 30s and 40s got to go out as a couple with no one else in the group apart from the lead rider/staff who was also riding . Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to go again
