DO NOT USE! We hired a van to move my daughter. They didn’t tell us the height of the van or the load capacity, just gave us the keys. We thought the van was insured but apparently not! It’s a damage waiver that is at Enterprises discretion and there are many, many things that invalidate that waiver and make you responsible for any damage . We hit a height sign (low impact small dent) because we had no idea of the height of the van! They are only obliged to let you know if it’s above 3 metres. Below 3 metres you have to work it out yourself. The exorbitant £2000 excess is not enough for Enterprise. It’s not an insurance product apparently ? Still don’t know who was insuring the van for the day. They want the full cost of the repair £2400 and an extra 16 days hire for the time the van was off the road £1450. In spite of the fact that the repair report said the van was drivable and the impact low. They didn’t give us quotes for the damage before they went ahead, because it’s not an insurance product . They advertise as having no hidden fees! So you hire a van believing it is insured only to find out it’s not and that’s how they roll. You might want to look at Trust Pilots reviews that are predominantly 1 star, where you will find a lot of this type of thing. They are a global company who will no doubt have water tight legal departments behind them, so beware. No one hires a van thinking they will have an accident but you do think you are insured. I just don’t know how they get away with it. Absolutely disgraceful company.

Thanks ChrisR for your response. Which led to me having a pointless conversation with a bot. At this time, having complained to your damage recovery team, we are still no further forward. How you can advertise as having no hidden costs, is the definition of false advertising. If you really do want to look into this matter the claim number is 79255885, please help!

Excellent Last-Minute Support!

I booked a car rental last minute through the website, and although my booking was confirmed online, the on-site staff realized there were no vehicles available at that location. I was initially worried, but the manager team went above and beyond to help.

Special thanks to Samantha, who found a car for me at the South Croydon branch. Even though her shift had already ended, she kindly drove me there herself so I could pick it up. Her dedication and kindness made a huge difference during a stressful moment. She even suggested removing the roadside assistance option to better match my budget—very thoughtful and helpful advice.

I truly appreciate the exceptional customer service and support. Thank you again, especially to Samantha, for going the extra mile!

A Van-tastic Adventure (Eventually)

Booked a van for 9am at Enterprise Caterham along with a few others who clearly had the same idea. Unfortunately, the vans didn’t quite get the memo. After waiting around for 30mins, we were told there weren’t any available and were redirected to the Epsom branch where they did have one ready.

Not ideal, especially when you’re trying to stick to a moving schedule – but to be fair, the staff were really understanding and did their best to make up for the inconvenience. Once we got to Epsom, everything ran smoothly.

Probably just a bad day to need a van – these things happen. If nothing else, at least it turned into a bit of an unexpected road trip before the actual road trip. Would still use them again, just maybe with a backup coffee and snack plan next time.

5 on 5 -The Process was Smooth and Quick. Though Pre-booked, I checked in at the Caterham Counter and go vehicle in less than 15 min time. Faruk was great. Thank you.

Top Notch condition. I got a free upgrade and was very happy.

3. Exit Procedure:
Again 5 on 5, Dan was quick and explained me the exit part.

Overall a super experience and will definitely come back.

Awful. This enterprise branch must have changed management recently. Pre existing damages to the vehicle i had rented. Photos taken of the damages the morning after once I had started noticing the damages (delivery driver failed to point out any damages to my mother who was home when the vehicle was delivered. £400 automatically taken and they don't seem to care or want to do anything about it. Excuse after excuse.

Samantha= AMAZING from start to finish she was friendly and hospitable and in all honesty I felt like I’ve known her years, I returned a courtesy car and due to still not having a new car I had to then get a rental which Samantha helped me with and also dropped me home . She’s a credit to the branch she’s the type of person you want to go back just for them honestly thanks Samantha x
