Excellent! I use Atherton Post Office almost daily as I run a small business and I post some of my packages there.

I have to say that in my personal experience, the customer service is brilliant. The staff I have dealt with have always been friendly and very knowledgeable. I have to give a special mention to the older gentlemen with a beard (I think his name is Siraz) who has gone the extra mile for me on quite a few occasions. Very friendly and helpful.

Best Post Office around here! Go there on purpose for several different things. They've always been very helpful and get things done quickly. The lady and the two gentlemen are very polite, friendly and chatty! Recommend this Post Office!

I use this post office everyday
The staff are lovely very helpful and nothing is too much trouble.
sometimes I take in over 20 A4 envelopes to be weighed and stamps attached
They always greet me with a happy smile

On more than one occasion I've been to post parcels here I have been told the options available don't match the post office website. They tried to tell me they didn't know what the 48 Hour Tracked service was and only gave me the option of Special Delivery as the only signed for service they offered, even though I didn't need the parcel insuring, at significant more cost than what I had asked for, which is totally wrong.

Same parcels at Tyldesley you get exactly what you ask for at a cheaper price. How is this so when they're both Post Offices? I won't be going to Atherton Post Office ever again. Absolute rip off.

Usually I get good service but on this occasion the guy on the front desk that served me today has to be one of the rudest people I have come across.Other shop keepers in the area said there always getting complaints about him.Maybe needs some training in customer service.He makes me feel uncomfortable to come in when he’s working,visited on Friday 16th August.All the other staff are lovely and helpful but this guy just seemed to want to argue with me like he had a problem with me.The disagreement started when he tried to charge me £5 more for my parcel to be delivered the following day,Saturday.Which I told him there was no need to pay the extra £5 as it will get delivered on the Saturday and I’d done this many times and he was adamant it wouldn’t.Then he had the cheek to say I was shouting at him just for disagreeing with him.His attitude towards me was vile.He threatened to bar me just for speaking out about him trying to con me out of £5.He needs to know his job better.Guess what,the parcel did arrive the following day just like I said it would.Surprise Surprise.

Been a business customer here for 25 years . Various management over the years but the current team are the friendliest and most efficient. Always polite and great to deal with. Not ridiculously busy if you pick your time.
