Went on the seal safari today and it did not disappoint! The sea was a little bit choppy, but that added to the excitement and anticipation!
We stopped in the little cove where the seals were lolloping about on the beach, some of them in the sea (very close to our boat) and it was magical!
I would strongly recommend Tenby Boats and the Seal Safari.
My daughter recommends taking binoculars 😊

We did the two hour dolphin trip and had a totally magical experience. A small boat with amazing skipper made it very calm and relaxing, even before we were surrounded by dolphins. We also saw gannets, puffins, seals and guillemots. Many thanks for an unforgettable morning.

Amazing! Great value for money, definitely would recommend! Staff were friendly + knowledgeable - sadly due to conditions had to move to bigger boat, but offered us a partial refund. Lucky to see a couple dozen seals’ 🦭

Edit as a response to the owner: we went on 1 Aug 25 4pm.

We went on the 1 hr 15 min Island Ranger tour for £20 per person. The tour itself was okay, saw some seals basking on the beach and many marine birds around the islands. The guides were informative too. The reason why I am giving 3 stars is because when we were queuing up at the beach to board the boat (many of us were already there queuing in the sun 20 mins before the boat even arrived), a couple of kids cut the queue and ran up straight to the boat and sat at the front deck. My friend and I were confused as if they were the children of the boat crew or something? Because they clearly did not had tickets on them. When we boarded the boat, we realized the kids cut the queue to "reserve" the front deck seats for the rest of their family members who were at the back of the queue and obviously couldn't care less about their children's behavior. I am sure other guests would have felt as annoyed and disgusted as us and it would be good for the boat operators to manage the queue system better. Even the dogs on the boat behaved better.

We originally booked the Island Cruiser boat trip—an hour and a quarter out along the islands, where you get the chance to see seals, puffins (if they’re in season), as well as other seabirds like guillemots, cormorants, and razorbills along the coast.

The skipper was really informative, sharing lots of interesting facts about both the wildlife and the history of the area. It’s a two-deck boat, and we sat on the top deck—luckily, the weather was gorgeous, which made the whole experience even better.

Although we didn’t actually get out on the boat until 4pm (it kept being pushed back), this wasn’t the company’s fault—it was all down to the sea conditions. Safety comes first, and they clearly weren’t willing to take risks just to keep to a schedule, which we really appreciated.

We didn’t mind the wait anyway as we planned to spend the day in Tenby regardless. All in all, a great boat trip company and definitely worth checking out if you’re ever in Tenby!

Super informative guide on our tour today. A lady was throwing curveball geology questions but bro replied thick and fast with facts. Saw a bunch of seals. I'm a vegan so am a little worried by anything with 'safari' in the title but kept a good distance from the wildlife. One of the seals had a fishing net around its head and the guide said they'd taken photographs and are arranging for a conservationist to come and sort it, was really nice to see that care for the animals.

Reasonably priced and super enjoyable hour.

Did the seal safari and LOVED IT! Numerous seals spotted but not intruded on which I feel is very important. You can tell the company care about their welfare which I wish was the same on all wildlife spotting boat trips. Also very informative about the seals, islands, coves and birds. Loved that the experience was dog friendly. Wanted to go again but saving it for spring when the birds are back.
