Beautiful cottage and setting. We really enjoyed our time at Bear’s Cottage. The owner messaged to say it was ready earlier than expected and greeted us on arrival. The cottage was spotlessly clean and perfect for us (2 adults, 3 teenagers and a dog).

We had a fabulous time away at Bryn Rhosyn. The cottage is well maintained and well equipped for everyone (toddlers and dogs included!). It's in a beautiful location, perfect for exploring the coast, with lots of good pubs and restaurants close by.

Ty Cadwgan was an ideal house for a summer getaway. The house was delightfully cool and practical for sandy feet. Well equipped with everything you need.

The outdoor hose and footpath access were a blessing for our two very active dogs!! The gravel on the driveway between the house and the garden/footpaths was rather sharp however, we all (dogs included) managed with a bit of wincing as we went.

Overall, we had a lovely relaxing stay, with plenty of activities locally.

Fab location for rock climbing trip in the area. House is comfortable and very well stocked (particularly the kitchen). All nice and clean. Friendly messages and helpful instructions from the owners. We had a question about the keys on leaving and got a helpful and practical answer. Would stay here again.

Accommodation was outstanding. Beautiful decor, spotlessly clean, well laid out, wonderful views, great location. Boltholes and Hideaways were also outstanding - excellent customer service. They were so kind when we had a medical emergency. I highly recommend them.

Booked a short break with this company, the location was perfect but the accommodation was tired, grubby and needed a deep clean, the shower mouldy, bath taps faulty, dining chairs covered in old food, the windows were absolutely filthy, there was cow poo in the drive (interesting if you leave dog poo in the garden they say they will fine you but they leave cow poo and it hadn’t just appeared), there were flies everywhere (bins under bedroom windows didn’t help!), gate falling apart - the plug hole was rusty and the plug chain missing - we were advised we could use a fork with the plug by Boltholes (honest this is true)

There were many more issues, thankfully we were only there 2 nights and the sun was shining so we basically just used the beds! We emailed the company who advised us it was rustic and they could have sent handymen and cleaners - they would have been there all day ! We asked for a partial refund which seemed fair and the company were both rude and sarcastic !

Beware of this company as they just really don’t care and the properties really are not as described

House was in a great location near to shops pier and cafes. However it was not as peaceful as we would have hoped. People staying in house next door had a few dogs which barked non stop in the garden. The property was spacious and luxurious but could do with a good lick of paint. The basement did suffer with bad damp problem understandable with its close proximity to the sea but sometimes the smell was unbearable we had to invest in scented candles. On website it says parking is 5 mins away however there was never spaces available so be mindful of this. And it is £40 a week not £20 as quoted on website. We had a lovely stay but do bear in mind it is on Main Street with delivery trucks offloading to pubs opposite.
