Karen is a Superb Stand Up Paddle Board Teacher, she taught me how to lie on my chest, Sit on my bum, Kneel, and Stand.

Karen also told me & a Group of 6, how to set your own board up, how to set the Paddle up, and point the tip of the paddle which goes in the Water the right way!!

This is the second time I have paddled with Karen at Paddleboarding Adventures and once again, I absolutely loved it. I did the Sunset to Starlight paddle on the River Wye from Monmouth to Redbrook on a lovely September evening. Karen is a great instructor and manages to balance making sure everyone is safe with fun. Her instructions are really clear which means that you can relax and thoroughly enjoy the experience. We had lovely hot chocolates and biscuits half way through too!

? I absolutely loved our first beginner paddleboarding adventures experience with Karen on the River Wye.

I instantly loved how she had a lovely way about her, using gentle kind words where needed while we did all of the land training before heading out onto the water ?.. perfect for my daughter who hates attention drawn to herself when an adult is talking to her.

Karen's instruction and intuition when things aren't right are fantastic. I would highly recommend Karen as an instructor if you're looking at starting up paddleboarding and you're looking for someone who really cares!

We can't wait to join her for a longer day out ?

We did the beginner's SUP skills, 2 hour course at £35 pp

Wetsuits can be hired for £10 pp.

Top tip, take 20p pieces for the toilets in Ross on Wye

Just returned from the Bath day tour and absolutely loved it, so much so, I've just booked two further trips! I'm a nervous paddler, with some health conditions. Karen and her fellow instructors (Alison and Jan) were superb, and fully supported all of the paddlers in the group. After previously being told by a SUP instructor that 'you can't / you'll never be good enough', Karen is the complete opposite, and is all about the how can we make this work. Thank you Karen, Alison and Jan for making the day special, stretching me in my comfort zone, and supporting us all

Did the paddle progression course Sunday 3rd August 2024 absolutely brilliant!! I learnt so much and boosted my confidence 100%. Definitely recommend to anyone who like me is a competent paddler but not necessarily a confident one.....such a giggle too lovely and relaxed and no peer pressure

Karen is an amazing instructor. She's incredibly patient and knowledgeable about the sport. Had the best time learning beginner skills on the paddle board. Our session was at Court Farms which is a fantastic site for beginners. I'm already back here for a paddle as we speak ? looking forward to future sessions with Karen on the Wye!
