What a fantastic experience with Gradient Adventure and Glyn! We went gorge walking and it was brilliant!! With our two boys (aged 14 and 12) we had a great time scrambling, sliding and jumping into the river. Glyn was a great guide, good fun, knowledgeable and above all we felt safe while doing a really exciting activity. 100% recommend Glyn's adventures. Thank you.

We had a great experience with Glyn having booked Extreme Canyoning and Kayaking. I was extremely impressed by Glyn’s dedication to providing high quality kit and trying to find suitable routes for us to attempt canyoning but due to unseasonably high rain he made the right call to cancel the canyoning after inspecting the length of the route. He was able to quickly pivot and get us setup in kayaks down on the beautiful river where we could explore the area and enjoy the countryside. Great experience

If you’re an adrenaline junkie searching for your next thrill, this stag weekend event is an absolute must! Picture yourself immersed in the great outdoors, surrounded by nature, and ready for an unforgettable adventure. Just a heads-up: you might want to avoid getting wet!

Trust me when I say this experience is one for the books. Make sure to pack an extra pair of trainers and wet socks—keeping your feet warm is essential (110% necessary)! The drops we faced were insane, but rest assured, everything was expertly managed by our amazing guides—shoutout to Glyn for keeping us safe while we pushed our limits!

Just a tip: parking can get pretty chaotic, so try to carpool if you can and aim to arrive early. All in all, I couldn’t recommend this adventure enough. It’s an absolute thrill for anyone looking to experience extreme canyoning!

What an absolutely fantastic experience! We were total beginners - never done anything like this before and we are by no means adrenaline junkies but wanted to add a bit of adventure to our Snowdonia break. 2 adults and an 11 year old. Glyn was brilliant, informative and patient with the group. You can’t get much more authentic than this!

Avoid this company. I had a very frustrating and unprofessional experience trying to book the white water kayaking activity with Glyn. I spent a week chasing via email and text for basic details like the time and location so I could plan the rest of the day as it was a birthday. I just kept being told it would be morning or afternoon and to wait as he'd let me know. After following up yet again a couple days before the trip, I had been neglected to be told that the trip had been cancelled due to other customers cancelling. We were offered an alternative, but only after again pushing for more information such as time and location, it turned out to cost £100 extra.

By then, most other nearby adventure companies were almost fully booked, and we nearly had to cancel the birthday trip. While ringing around for a last-minute replacement and explaining the situation, I was told by other companies that issues like this are common with this business and that they tell people to avoid it. Apparently its known that people often don’t get what they pay for such as only receiving part of the extreme canyoning trip, or have the same kind of booking problems I did. I strongly recommend booking elsewhere.

I booked an extreme coasteering session a few weeks in advance, but was told the evening before it was scheduled that it was cancelled due to others dropping out. He offered regular coasteering for later day, but when I arrived at the meeting point, no one was there.

I called Glyn, who told me he got the day wrong and that the session was actually scheduled for the following day. He seemed more annoyed that I had called him rather than being apologetic about the mistake, even after I explained that I’d driven a two hour round trip to attend.

Also, the payment had to be made via BACS or PayPal to a personal account, which offers no protection if the service isn’t delivered. Although he has now paid me a refund, I feel lucky to have received it as another review on Google suggests this isn't always the case.

Overall, I'm very disappointed by the experience and would not recommend this company.

Last week we joined Glyn for a canyoning experience in Wales. We enjoyed every moment from start to end. Glyn took us to lots of amazing rock formations and places where we could also jump into clear pools. He was knowledgeable and gave clear and precise instructions to help you know exactly what you needed to do. If you were a little nervous he was excellent at helping to guide you to put you at ease. Climbing up the waterfall at the end of the route was a wonderful experience and a great way to finish the tour. I would definitely do this kind of experience again with Glyn.
