Absolutely brilliant experience. Bought for a friend’s birthday which 4 of us attended.
The staff were amazing entertainers whilst clearly being incredibly experienced and knowledgeable. We were supported through the whole process resulting in us making some very drinkable gin which we brought home with us in some beautiful bottles. We were treated to a couple of large complimentary G&Ts and a number of sample gins. I discovered a gin I’d never tasted before and have been converted from a non gin drinker to a lover of the stuff!
Would definitely do this again!!

Bought this for the other half's birthday and of course I couldn't share a still.
Amazing experience and brilliant fun. The guys were informative without being boring or too technical. Sam was very helpful as the other half wanted to add an unique ingredient (samphire) and he help balance the flavours.

On top of a fun experience (and now a desire to change career!!l) we walked away with 4 bottles (2 x 50cl 2 x 20cl) of gin.

Would highly recommend...I'm now looking at their rum distilling experience.

Wow! I had been given a Gin School experience for my Birthday.
I went with my bestie. What a wonderful 3 hours we had. Welcomed by David & shown in and a welcome drink of a Gin & Tonic. We sat and had a welcome chat with others & a tour of Distillery and discussion of the Origins of Gin.
We learnt a lot about Gin History.
We then went into Gin School. David then joined by Jack.
We had our little Distillery and given a list of ingrediants,graph re different Gin styles.
We had lots of help, advice & great banter from Jack & David.
It was really fun to start the Gin processing off & to choose, weigh our ingrediants and name our Gin, Mortie' s Gin.
In between we had another Gim & Tonic to sample.
We brought a cake half way through as we were going to taste 3 Gin's too all different.
We were all by now quite lively!
The last Gin & Tonic was your favourite to have out of the 3 sanpled.
We then were advised of our Gin's % alcohol.
a 73% then we had it blended.
Afterwards we labelled and bottled our Gin which we really liked the flavour of
Our Gin was 44.5%.
A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. We all enjoyed, David & Jack made everyone at ease and we all had plenty of laughs too.
Id highly recommend and suggest a good hearty brunch before!

Such a good experience, interesting information about their distilling process and equipment. Lots of drinks included throughout the experience and extra drinks and snacks available to buy as well. Staff were fun and informative, the gin school itself was well planned out and it was made easy to distill and support with selecting botanicals as required. A great experience and I am sure we'll be back. Very good value for the current price as well. Thanks for a great time 🥳

Really enjoyable way to spend an afternoon, the team were so welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable - Gin School was a surprise anniversary gift and a great way to celebrate and create our own gin while enjoying all the tasting along the way! Highly recommended.

I attended a 3 hour Gin making experience with my husband. We both thoroughly enjoyed the experience and felt it was one of the best activities we had done in years! Peter and Simon and the rest of the team were excellent. They were all really knowledgeable about their craft and were fantastic hosts. We learnt all about the history of gin followed by a very hands-on, fully guided session to produce our own unique gin. It was a really well organised, fun workshop with bonus of leaving with 2 bottles of our very own gin (1 x 50cl + 1 x 20cl). We had such a good time we are definitely going to recommend to all our gin-loving friends, and we are also going to book the cocktail masterclass and gin tasting cruise in the summer. Our experience was a Christmas gift - best gift ever!

Received this as a gift, and it was the best experience! We were thoroughly entertained and educated about gin, got to taste LOTS (amazing to be greeted with a huge G&T waiting for you), and thoroughly enjoyed making our own gin. You are given plenty of advice on what to add depending on what you like, while enjoying a gin cocktail, and then another G&T of your choice, and then gin tastings! We hadn't realised we'd be drinking quite so much, so definitely recommend booking a taxi (we had to leave our car overnight). Hearing how the distillery started, and their passion as a small, almost entirely, family business, is inspiring. But overall this was just so much fun. Looking forward to buying some vouchers for friends.

Brilliant afternoon yesterday at Shakespeare Distillery Gin School 😃 Wonderful few hours, very interesting and very helpful friendly staff. Looking forward to trying my own gin I created in a few weeks once it’s fully ready to drink. My experience was a gift for my birthday last year and my daughter couldn’t have got me a better gift, definitely recommend it as a gift for any gin lover. Thanks to all the staff for making it such a great time!
