A very beautifully preserved and well presented station. I’m not sure what era the station is set at but it definitely feels like one is in the 1940s. Very well preserved antiquity across the station and the station is in great condition. Very friendly staff, the addition to an old fashioned signal box which is in use is a bonus. Worth stopping here if you’re interested in diesel locomotives as the diesel locomotives seem to be stored here. Thank you to the volunteers for being so kind.

Wonderful, helpful volunteer staff. The small refreshment facility takes Contactless payments (a first for the 2022 Season). The station has a plant and book sales are to raise money for station funds.

Williton Sta is on the West Somerset Railway, a heritage attraction. From March to October steam powered services operate btwn Bishops Lydeard and Minehead. There is a bus connection btwn Bishops Lydeard and Taunton (No 28).

Williton station is the half way to b.l.on the west Somerset railway, it's not that popular with passengers unless you want to walk around to williton village (great)if your a hiker or want to cross over the bridge to catch the train back to minehead, there is a small cafe on the platform,or to walk around to the village.

Der Bahnhof lohnt einen Besuch. Ruhig und angenehm ohne Massen an Personen. Schaut auf den Fahrplan, wenn ihr zur richtigen Zeit dort seid, halten und kreuzen sich zwei Dampfzüge im Bahnhof. Greetings to Phil an the Team.
