Lovely trip on the Mercia Swan. Friendly, efficient and capable staff.
We pre booked food from the Boat Street cafe which was picked up on the way by. Food was nice and good value. Hot and cold drinks available on the boat.

A trip on the Mercia Swan ought to be a dream. Beautiful site, great canal, lovely countryside, plenty of wildlife, nice boat. Definitely a dream.
Trying to charter two trips for a carers' group was a nightmare. On the phone, they requested details via email. I mailed full details. Nothing happened. Then they wanted details entered into the website. I entered them. Nothing happened. Apparently they could not use the details I had sent, though they had all the required info, including my screenshot of my info on their website. After 3 weeks of trying to get a confirmed booking I gave up, frustrated and disappointed.
Poor, inflexible customer service and worse communication. Sad, really.
